North Korea's Military Might

I don't think war was ever going to happen. Kim Jong Un seems to be showing off to win over his military in a show of force.

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
Already John Kerry mentioned shooting down any missile that NK launches for it's next test.

Dunno if that will happen though.

Today in North Korea there exist within the military a hard line group that basically controls the military. The present leader of North Korea is, in my opinion, attempting to insure that he remains in power by kowtowing to the hardliners. The only problem is that he is basically backing himself into a corner with the current rhetoric. If it continues he will have to admit that it was all bluster or commit some form of military action of some type. The only problem with this is that South Korea has reached a point that they will no longer accept the actions of North Korea if it involves any overt action by North Korea against South Korea. Unfortunately, it appears that Kim Jong Un has backed himself into that corner. What he does or does not do will determine the fate of the North Korean people.

I have always wondered about the reception of Kim Jong-un amongst the military officers in North Korea. He was presumed to be very childish and immature and the first action he takes in office is firing a mortar on a military officer as a form of execution.
I have a feeling that he is not well received by certain commanders in the within military wing of North Korea. All of these action seem to be done for stability of North Korea itself despite the fervent destabilization that also emits onto canvas which is viewed by the western world.
Kim Jong-un seems to be playing a dangerous game all done for the sake of his continuity as leader.

As would I... as well?

No seriously, me too, I just don't know how to add on to "as would I" :p
I wouldn't be so quick as to label the US as a bully. Inept from a foreign policy perspective, trying to do the "right thing", as she saw it, but not as a bully, per se. An inept, inadvertent bully, perhaps?

Fair enough, though methinks the giant's right hand doesn't always know what the left is doing and vice versa (and that's not a cryptic reference to political right and left so much as simply different factions and special interest groups); and methinks sometimes bullyish tactics are deployed outright. Like any simplified characterization it isn't always the case, of course.

I don't think North Korea is that cute although I do think Kim Jon-un may look adorable in a plaid skirt, but that is just my opinion :D

The closest I could find was this
