I imagine moving to Norway would be very expensive and very lonely. People there were social distancing before COVID was ever a thing. That said, the thought crossed my mind in the past
Benefits to Norway; you can camp anywhere in the woods. No fees like here in the USA. If you can break through the ice barrier, Norwegians are wonderful friends to have; not fairweather at all. Though the cost of living is insane, the social benefits and high paying jobs there help to offset those costs. Norwegians are masters of money management for a reason
As for BC, that would be my choice. Culturally it's already similar to where I live and I wouldn't have to leave the Salish Sea. Southern Alaska is appealing to me too for similar reasons. All in all though, I'm happy with my state and see no reason to leave just yet
