Denying yourself pleasurable things is always a virtue. Except for the engaging in the pleasure of telling people they're going to hell - that one's a virtue.
You're forgetting the pleasure of forbidding other people from telling people they're going to hell. Its the complex carbohydrate of the pleasure food group.

Actually some of us are not necessarily fat, we are simply not tall enough for our weight.

What was it Norm from Cheers said when asked what he was up to?

My ideal weight if I was 11 feet tall.

1. I like to eat.
2. I've all but stopped working out since my back surgery.
3. I got fat, not unexpectedly.
4. Pain doctor points to my belly and says "that's not helping". Hey, I worked hard for this!

I would think it's more comparable to those tasteless, bland communion wafers. This may be their way of telling people what food is like in Heaven. If you want pizza, Twinkies, hamburgers, soda...well, that's all in "the other place."
