Do you think these (if any at all) deserve to be on this list? (I think whoever wrote this list was a bit stupid, but that's just my own opinion)

Well from this this meaning: The word has many uses in the English language, popularly meaning "knowledge of the paranormal", as opposed to "knowledge of the measurable", usually referred to as science, I would say that yes some of those are of the Occult. But I find some of the just funny, Martial Art....occult(LOL). But I don't think any thing in the Occult is evil or wrong(it is what is is). And in a sense of the term I am an Occultist.

is the author saying that this list of things will stop a person being delivered unto God?

i'm rather amused to say the least.

I never like hearing anything about book burning, regardless of what book it is. But whats scary is the fact there's someone somewhere out there taking this seriously and subjecting someone else to this dribble. LOL, Lucky Charms..........

Can't brain. Has dumb.
hmm... briefly scanned it. I think it's silly! :p

EDIT:

LOL now that I actually read it, I've probably dabbled in around 75% of that list at the minimum!

Apparantly I'm heavily involved in the occult.

*Runs off to find new music - current playlist has to be deleted completely! >_<* :p

Someone care to explain how D&D is a sign of the occult? It's a frakking game for heaven's sake! And if D&D made the list why didn't Final Fantasy?

for a second there the "who will be eaten first" one looked just as plausible as the rest of them

Cthulhu is a much less dark vision of horror drawn out of the human imagination than the "God" of the bible presented by orthodox Christianity over the centuries (and still today by the likes of Chick and other wacky fundamentalists). Cthulhu just eats your body. "God of Bible" has some system rigged up to keep you alive in the afterlife for all eternity for the sole purpose of subjecting your being to unrelenting torture, whereas Cthulhu, like a hurricane or a shark, is pretty much indifferent. For pure nastiness, Jehovah has it in spades over Cthulhu.

Here's a charming variation from THE pPhilosopher of Roman Catholicism, Thomas Aquinas in his Summa Theologica:

SUMMA THEOLOGICA: The relations of the saints towards the damned (Supplementum, Q. 94)

I answer that, Nothing should be denied the blessed that belongs to the perfection of their beatitude. Now everything is known the more for being compared with its contrary, because when contraries are placed beside one another they become more conspicuous. Wherefore in order that the happiness of the saints may be more delightful to them and that they may render more copious thanks to God for it, they are allowed to see perfectly the sufferings of the damned.
Thanks all the same, Tommy, but you can keep your "heaven." :sarcastic
