I will wait for the MSM to decry the tsunami of rioting and property destruction we've been engulfed in over the past year, as much as they acted like the world was ending on January 6th. Oh, and rioters tried to break into the police headquarters last night here, too.
Ugh.

It seems appropriate under the circumstances.

The public needs to see officers being held accountable to the same laws that we are.

The cops involved with the death of George Floyd deserve harsh punishment.

Not so in this case.

Daunte Wright was stopped for having an outdated license tag.
Cops checked and he had an outstanding warrant for armed robbery.
He got out of the car and then, as he was being handcuffed, he broke free and attempted to drive away.

The officer had every right to use lethal force at that time. Instead, she decided to use the taser and messed up.

Critics need to choose their battles wisely. Not every police shooting is unwarranted.

About the warrant ..Wrong!!!

Here's the link with the two warrants.

Warrants were gross misdemeanor carrying a pistol without a permit and misdemeanor fleeing police.

For reference...
In United States law, a gross misdemeanor is a crime which is more serious than a regular misdemeanor, but is still classified as a minor crime, as opposed to serious crimes. Such crimes may include petty theft, simple assault or driving under the influence of alcohol and/or other drugs.

That's why it's manslaughter.

Being a cop dosent change things soley because one is a cop. Especially one with 20 years experience who apparently after all this time can't yet tell the difference between her tazer and firearm.

Cops are and should be held to a higher standard and accountability in light of the expanded powers they are givin with the uniform.

I'll stand corrected on the warrants.

Do those details show up on the cop's cars or does the info just show "outstanding warrants"? We don't know.

Nevertheless, he resisted arrest - he tried to escape.

I suppose if she had drawn her weapon intentionally and shot an offender who resisted arrest and was trying to flee, that would have been better.

Let someone burn down your stuff and see if you sing that same tune. No, I don't care about the big box stores like Target and such (they can came loot at my work for all I care about it; I'd be happy for the time off), but destroying police stations (which hurts the victims who have their case evidence stored there, FYI), post offices, local small businesses, homes, etc. is disgusting. I helped stop some losers from trying to rip the plywood off of the buildings during a protest/riot last year. Those ****s even vandalized and set a fire in the headquarters of the ADAMH building, which provides all the funding and planning for mental health and substance abuse services in the city (and the main source of funding for the health center I rely on).

So go peddle that fake revolutionary trash elsewhere.
