Oh no, Joe...

BSM1

What? Me worry?
So,
You're drawing an equivalence between that and Trump's claims, for years and through most of the 2016 campaign.
Despite the big row between Obama and the excruciatingly Christian pastor of the church Obama attended for years.
Google Jeremiah Wright, in case you slept through that part of 2008.

You still think that Trump's birtherism is equivalent to Obama's one statement.

Got it.
Tom

You do know that the 'birther' issue was started by Clinton's campaign people and not Trump? Right? You knew that?

And when it was proven to be false, the Clinton campaign stopped talking about it. But the Republicans and Trump continued on for years and years. Trump even claimed that he'd sent some of his people to Hawaii to investigate, and continued claiming that Obama hadn't been born in the USA.
You knew that. Right?

I don't either. I just find it incredibly tragic that he keeps gaffing consistently like this. I'd at least like to see the Democrats lose out honorably on the field of battle. Biden is doing it all to himself. It's like playing a Super Expert level on Mario Maker 2, and you lose your last life by immediately running face-first into a stationary Thwomp.
Did you just compare running for the most powerful job on the planet to playing a cheesy video game?

Both can cost you every spare ounce of sanity, sap you of all will and motivation to live and make you hate your life and everything you can possibly conceive of. And when you lose you blame the weather, the internet, the rules of the game, the people who made the rules of the game and everything you've eaten in the last 48 hours.

I don't hold this against him.
It's so minor compared to things that matter.

Reminds me of Obama's slip about being a Muslim.
Meh....sometimes the mouth gets ahead of the brain.
Unfortunately he does have a history of this. Not of being racist, but of making gaffes that no politician would normally make.

You're drawing an equivalence between...
Oh, you liberals & your love to claim "false equivalence".
This wasn't about that.
It was about how people have slips of the tongue, & they don't mean anything.
Biden did. Obama did.
Don't hold it against them.

I know you like to feign being obtuse.
What's next...make "slip of the tongue" be something sexual.

Biden has long been known for his hoof-in-mouth problem, but I don't see this blooper as causing a problem for him in the long run.

The title says everything here, folks.
Joe Biden's campaign says he misspoke when he said 'poor kids' are just as bright as 'white kids'

I'm not a fan of Joe Biden, I'd never vote for him. But between him accidentally calling Cory Booker the President, not being able to remember his own campaign website URL, and now... just, this... I honestly just feel bad for this man. Somebody please put him out of his misery and get him out of the race. He just needs a beach chair, an umbrella and a cold glass of milk and cookies by the sea. Today's media'll give this poor man a heart attack and God knows people aren't gonna let him off the hook for it.

Just days after this gaffe, Joe makes yet more. Today he claimed how the Parkland high school kids visited him while he was Vice President. Except the Parkland shooting happened after he left office. You would think that Joe would start being more careful about making gaffes, there have been so many. How many are too much? I seriously have doubts about his mind.

This is honestly like when my grandfather was completely making up stories in the mid-stages of his Alzheimer's.

Another kneejerk whataboutism rather than actually addressing the content of the post? Well I, for one, am shocked. Shocked, I tell you.

You think? Personally, I think Biden is well past it. But comparing Biden's dozens of gaffes to Derpy Donny's thousands... gaffes aren't the nail in the coffin of a campaign they used to be, apparently.
Reagan used to be called the "Teflon President" because of the way that his slips slid off of him, but Derpy takes that to new extremes.

I'm a liberal Democrat. If Biden was 10 years younger, I'd have no problem voting for him.
