One Infinite Expanding Universe

One universe is all we know though it is hypothesised that there are other universes besides ours.

In a new study, Stanford physicists Andrei Linde and Vitaly Vanchurin have calculated the number of all possible universes, coming up with an answer of 10^10^16. If that number sounds large, the scientists explain that it would have been even more humongous, except that we observers are limited in our ability to distinguish more universes; otherwise, there could be as many as 10^10^10^7 universes.

As for earth being the only habitable planet, again it's the only one we know but the list of known exo planets is increasing daily, to date there are over 5000 exo planets discovered in our small region of space, some of those are potentially habitable.

The Habitable Exoplanets Catalog is also a great resource and currently lists 63 known potentially habitable exoplanets. Twenty-three of those are Earth-sized

Sorry, ain’t got no scientific evidence for ya.
So when you say that's the way you see it, it's not because of any conclusion drawn from observation or evidence of any kind, it's only because of your belief?

By anything living.
Our planet is obviously habitable by anything living on it. Life forms from our planet are not going to be able to inhabit some other planets, but there are bound to be plenty of planets that we will be able to inhabit. Some life forms on our planet can't even inhabit some parts of our planet, including humans (without help with technology, anyways); for example, we cannot inhabit the middle of the ocean, unless we're on a boat/ship/etc. We also cannot inhabit Antarctica without buildings and a supply of energy (mainly for heat), food, etc.

Any extraterrestrial life that comes from planets with a very different environment to our planet that's hostile & incompatible to them won't be able to inhabit our planet, without help from technology, and they were able to inhabit the planet that they came from (I'm pretty sure this is all obvious).

Well for me, it’s a little more than belief. As far as other life goes, I don’t think any of that exists

Yes, growing daily. Up to ~7000 now. Here is a really neat site:

Many cool ways to explore the exoplanets!

etc.

As for 'other universes,' there are some theoretical arguments for that notion, but there is zero *evidence* for it. Time will tell.

I'd think nothing of it had you had said that you don't believe any of that exists, but since you're saying that you don't think any of that exists - why not?

A really really really strong gut feeling. Like really strong.

Thanks for that. Handy site
The multiverse hypothesis i prefer (and yes there are several) is that of Dr Laura Mersini-Houghton. Who seems to think (and i agree to a point) that she does have evidence in the bruising on the CMB that she believes is caused by a collision with another universe. It is backed up by the swaith of galaxies moving contrary to general universal motion, away from the bruise.
Not conclusive evidence of course but it is what sparked her hypothesis in the first place
