Well if ghosts can move things like light switches and cabinent doors, is it that far of a jump to think they could hurt a human?

Sorry, but they touch you all the time.Saint Xtreme said:My strategy is to avoid ever coming into "physical" contact with a spirit. You can look at me and talk to me and motion at me, just don't touch me because I'd prolly lose it!
HAHA!!! Well, in the case of incubuses and succubuses, I guess it would be. Even though they don't exist.kreeden said:Sounds kinda kinky MV . { just joking }
Oh darn . I'm joking MV . As I don't believe in Hell , I have to agree with you . But as with everything , we all have our own personal views of such things , and ... well , I guess it would depend upon how one sees it .Master Vigil said:But there are no spirits that rape, and drag into hell.
Prima , I'm not sure if that was in reply to my question or not ? But assuming that it was , as you were physically harmed , I think that dreams are a little different then what I was wondering about . In a dream , the subconsious is in control , and that can lead to all kinds of things . From harming one's self by thrashing around , to manifesting wounds .
Not sure, I didn't learn it from a book.MV, I didn't know that spirits help with sexual fantasies. Can you give me something to read up on about that?
Thanks soooooooo much. Now i won't be able to sleep tonight. :149:Melody said:When I was about 29, I had a spooky experience. I had been in bed for about 10 minutes and all of a sudden my skin started to crawl and it felt as if something incredibly evil was in the room with me. I remember being so terrified and pulling the covers up until I was cocooned in the blankets with just enough space to see. Like a bad horror movie, I just kept whispering "please go away, please go away" over and over. Then, the hall light turned on and then a few seconds later, turned off. It did this twice more before staying off. Then a few seconds later, the sensation of evil was gone. The whole experience didn't last more than 5 minutes.
I've never had a similar experience before or after and I hope I never do again. It's been 20 years and I can still remember how terrified I was. I have absolutely no curiousity to know what was in that room with me either.
Drat. I'll pass over the implications of that and just say that it's unfortunate you don't have literature on it, because it sounds interesting.Not sure, I didn't learn it from a book.
Prima , I agree . But the very fact that it is harder to seperate the Spiritual from the dream when asleep is why I tend to question it . As I hasn't in your dream , I had to ask . I will reread it . Thank you .Prima said:I guess that depends on what you think dreams are. As I said, I don't think that was a normal dream. There are dreams, and there are...experiences during sleep. A dream comes only from yourself - it's all your own thoughts, ideas, etc. Interesting experiences often come during or near sleep because we don't have such a hold on our concept of what is possible and real and what isn't. No, let me rephrase that - people who have a strong hold on this idea of 'real and not real' or 'possible and not possible' have sleep-time experiences more often. I think that someone like MV has them during the day because he does not anywhere in his mind consider them to be 'impossible' or 'unreal'
