The post is a qoute about what sharia says, i do not support all of the sharia law no.
I see the view of female in the sharia law as not something i can support.

My girlfriend is not forced to follow my words, she is a free thinking human being.
If that is a quote, you should link to the source. As I read it, I thought, oh dear, the poor boy has been thoroughly brainwashed already. How terrible.

Yeah, not one single thing in that quote has anything to do with God. If that was what you must believe in order to be a Muslim, I'd say leave now.

The Quran and sunnah is what i follow as a muslim, the sharia law is not used in many muslim countries, so its not mandatory to be a muslim to follow it.

With the onset of puberty, the individual becomes subject to shar‘i rulings that apply to him, so he should not shake hands with women or look at them, and he should not be alone with a woman, because he has now become accountable and the things that are prohibited for adult men are also prohibited for him, because he is one of them. It is not permissible to be careless about this matter, and it is essential to take it seriously. So you must refuse to go to the women’s prayer hall, and refuse to shake hands with non-mahram women or look at them, including your cousins, even if they object to you doing that, because there can be no obedience to any created being if it involves disobedience towards the Creator.

I cannot be friends with a God who condones that.

I disown that sentiment, and whoever condones it.

This, the poor, out dated, treatment of women is my main objection to islam and any other faith that treats women as chattels and sub class.
I have 3 objections from the top of my head:
1) The belittling and violent behavior towards women is one of my major objections to Islam
2) The violent killings of those who blaspheme is another problem too bad to put in words
3) The unwillingness of Muslims to speak out and face all the shortcomings in Islam

The TV show, Lilyhammer, dealt with this hand shaking prohibition.
I could only find it in German, but it's pretty clear how Frank views
the Muslim man's slight to the teacher.
Btw, I don't condone his response.

IF a Muslim not even touches a woman's hand who is not his wife
THEN I guess there will be little physical abuse in the Middle East

I have the freedom i am happy with, i eat vegetarian food, so the avoidance of pork is not a problem.

I actually can dress as i used to do before.

I was not talking to a lot of people before either, yes i have to watch my speaking a bit more toward females, and that is not a problem for me.

Prayer help me stay focused, so again not a problem for me.

So non of the points you made is a hindrance to me.

People in prisons often become quite content being in prison. When they get out they are lost and so commit another crime to be able to return to the "comfort" of strict rules and regulations.

Ditto cult members.

For the record...(my emphases)
Muslim Beliefs About Sharia
Acceptance of sharia as the revealed word of God is high across South Asia and most of the Middle East and North Africa. For example, roughly eight-in-ten Muslims (81%) in Pakistan and Jordan say sharia is the revealed word of God, as do clear majorities in most other countries surveyed in these two regions. Only in Lebanon is opinion more closely divided: 49% of Muslims say sharia is the divine word of God, while 38% say men have developed sharia from God’s word.
If it's the Word of God, it must be accepted - without question - right?

Here you go being all rude again. Do you think everything must have the same lifestyle and values as you in order to be considered "free" (since you apparently consider Amanaki imprisoned by his beliefs for merely living differently from you)? What kind of freedom is that?

What percentage and whats the research methodology used to determine this?

Did you bother reading my post before your knee started jerking? Did you notice that it was not directed at Amanaki? Did you realize the information was from the highly respected Pew Center.

It showed that, to the majority of Muslims, "sharia is the revealed word of God".

So, I'll repeat, If it's the Word of God, it must be accepted - without question - right? If you think differently, please explain why you believe people should ignore what their God says.
