Nobody really knows the exact figures and if they claim they do, they're lying to you.How much is enough? What are the requirements of the population? What metrics do you use to determine if you are meeting the requirement of the population?
I think that has much more to do with politics than it does with nature and the environment.Global hunger, overcrowding, etc.
I do not believe global hunger is increasing at present, but the loose of cropland is a progressing issue. Is global hunger increasing then? What data supports this?
The world has already achieved “peak child” and the population will soon stabilize. There are sufficient resources, including food, to handle the projected stable population to come. While there may be some manageable issues between now and the turn of he century when the population stabilizes, over population is not going to be a long term problem.
How do biologists define overpopulation? What metrics are used to determine an overpopulation?
- "Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature." From Georgia Guidestones.
Except in terms of environmental impact.
Only countries with excess capital have the means of cleaning up the environment. Poorer countries will employ the cheapest fuels and disregard pollution until their own population demands environmental improvements.
it is going to be that way. i have seat in the the first row and plenty of pop corn....Too vague and anecdotal to be a meaningful source
