Pagan Healing

Personally I find prayer comforting, but don't find it to be any more useful than magic (ie not at all useful, just comforting)

I like spending time in nature too.

Nice. I too have been utilizing witchcraft for self-care, deep personal healing and catharsis from stress/anxiety. Digging deep into pagan traditions has always appealed to me.

A tree without roots is just another log and then someone else's stool. :D

Healing myself the Pagan way: how witchcraft cast a spell on me

An article about one person's connection with Paganism, Witchcraft and it's healing powers.

Although the whole witchcraft thing is very woo-ey to me and I don't think it has any magical power, I do find that both being out in nature and rituals are calming and grounding. I love being out at night and watching the night sky, especially on a warm summer night in a more rural area. So beautiful and peaceful.:crescentmoon:

As a Registered Nurse, I was trained to just go along with any alternative medicines that patients considered helpful for them. It's a good rule. The placebo effect is real, whether or not an alternative medicine is objectively effective. And mindfulness, introspection, and relaxation can impact healing, however they are undertaken.
