Pagans: If the God and Goddess Are Equal...

FreeSpirit

Life is wonder...
If the God and Goddess are equal, then why does the Goddess get almost all the press and the God is seldom talked about? Are they really equal? Or, is something going on here that I'm not aware of?

Friend,

I believe that the God/desses of Druidry are equal, but I have a preference on some over others. Could it not be that some people prefer a female deity over a male? A personal example of my own would be that I prefer to worship the Goddess Danu - who is Goddess of nature - over the God Cernunnos - who is God of the same.

Also, it may simply be that some people see certain things as being male/female. For example, nature would be a feminine thing and war a male?

Many blessings,

Matt :flower:
