Lots of things have been said about any number of things. This is caveman reasoning. Grow up.
That's unfair to cavemen....& cavewomen.
They demand a public apology!

Now if people can only tell the difference between migrant and illegal.
""""Nassau County Police identified 26-year-old Bechir Lehbeib, an asylum seeker from North Africa,""""

I agree. The man is not an illegal as his asylum pursuit is apparently recorded.

Did you recognize that too "the difference between migrant and illegal."?

And from this one incident you feel justified in promoting xenophobic unrest?

There's been plenty more, including rapes of teenagers, a woman being dragged down the street, squatters taking over homes, etc.
Maybe that's not enough "unrest" for this country to take notice?

At issue is your selective focus.

A "Palestinian 'migrant' attacks [a] NY homeowner," and you are incensed. Fair enough.

But where was this anger when a good ol' white American landlord killed a Palestinian-American child (stabbing him 26 times) and viciously attacked the child's mother (stabbing her more than a dozen times)?

What should be said about illegals crossing the border and assaulting homeowners in this country?
That people who focus on crimes of immigrants in order to paint the group as dangerous/dirty/dishonest etc are complete arseholes. Yet to see an example where this summation failed.

Your "Yeah, but whatabout?" responses indicate you don't care to discuss the topic of this thread. So why not start a new thread with all the whatabouts you are currently preoccupied with?

Would you prefer to dismiss the 15 year old Venezuelan with a gun who thought shoplifting was ok? Then when confronted, decided that shooting people was ok? A .45 pistol for 15 year old illegals in New York, but not for law abiding Americans.

MIDTOWN, Manhattan (WABC) -- A 15-year-old boy accused of opening fire in Midtown Manhattan Thursday night was taken into police custody on Friday.

The teen was caught at 106 Saratoga Ave. in Yonkers by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Recovery Task Force around 3:30 p.m.

NYPD officials said a combination of video evidence, canvasses, forensics, ballistic recovery and witness accounts led to the capture of the suspect.

"We literally spoke to hundreds of individuals," said NYPD Asst. Chief of Detectives Bureau Jason Savino. "We obtained what we can be described as pristine photos of our subjects. Now those photos ultimately lead to the identification of our shooter."

That evidence led cops to Yonkers where sources say the 15-year-old was crying as he was taken away in handcuffs.

"Just like we promised, less than 24 hours later he's locked up and off our streets," NYPD Commissioner Edward Caban said.

Addressing a double-standard is not whataboutism.
