Yes.
G-d Chose the Jews to establish ethical monotheism on Earth.
As first Christians, and then Muslims, adopted this idea, they proclaimed that their god didn't favor the Jews anymore but instead favored the Christians or Muslims.
So, they spent the next 2,000 years trying to either kill the Jews or persecute them to change their religion or simply control and regulate them to be irrelevant.
Yet, instead of disappearing, the Jews continued to thrive and grow stronger in each generation.
The Jews continued to lead mankind in both secular ideas and ideology and then finally, for the first time in recorded history, after 2,000 years of non existence, established a Jewish State in the Land of Israel.
Not only that but, after everyone, including Jews, were convinced that religious Judaism was dying and would be dead by the end of the 20th Century, there are more religious Jews practicing Judaism and learning Torah than there have been for the last 2,000 years!
So - religious practice is at an all time high; Israel is one of most advanced nations on planet Earth; according to British Colonel Richard Kemp testifying before the UN, "The IDF did more to safeguard the lives of civilians than any other army in the history of warfare;" Jews all over the world are in high positions of secular knowledge; Finance; and Government; and the Jewish People continue to thrive and prosper after being exterminated by the Nazis and having the entire world condemn Israel for even existing for the last 65 years.
According to Christianity; Islam; and the secular world, Jews should have been long dead and gone by now and totally irrelevant in today's world.
When a people does not die and disappear according to your expectations, but instead prospers and leads the world in every way, it tends to really annoy people.
Especially those, which is much of the human race, who get their jollies by hating and denigrating someone else to take their minds off of their own miserable lives.
Same old sympathy attracting victim mentality again ... this is kinda getting old ... well really really old.
