I seem to remember a black dentist who had a fancy car being stopped several hundreds of times with no citations.
I have a number of black friends in all professions... some of them successful business executives, amateur musicians/singers, doctors, and university professors. They come from a number of social backgrounds and the one thing that they all have in common is that they have been stopped by the police hundreds of times as well.
On the other hand I grew up mainly around white folks. I remember on one occasion a group of whites was actually in the process of stealing a car from a parking lot when a cop pulled up. It was obvious these guys were up to no good because they had crowbars and balaclavas on, but the cops just pulled up and then drove away.
Apparently the average black person walking down the street is somehow more "suspicious" than whites with balaclavas and crowbars. Racism is still alive and well in America, and no amount of denial will every change that.
