Pastor Ellis Caught Sexually Harassing Ariana Grande At Aretha Franklin’s Funeral

For those trying to excuse the pastor one wonders how many female breasts they have touched. Let me try to simplify this. A young, fit women like Ariana is very firm in her touchable bits and very squooshy in her naughty bits. If you feel something squoosh, back off.

I'm not seeing this as sexual harrassment. Why would this pastor do this intentionally in such a public way?
Because it gave him a thrill and he thought he could get away with it. Why else? Or do you think that he apologized for doing something he really didn't do?

All too often have men not taken women's boundaries seriously. Now is pay back time. I hope that such incidents continue to get reported and in the press.
Well, at least brought to the perp's attention. I'd hate to see the news filled with such minor sexual indiscretions.

People apologize all the time for the perception of what they have done rather than as an admission that what they did was their intent.

I just watched a great Bollywood movie "Toilet: A Love Story". If it takes reporting on a large number of minor indiscretions to make this "women's issue" an issue for men, then we will all benefit. In the movie the case is made that if it doesn't become a personal problem, then people won't change.

I would go further though and say that a hug given without permission is too much. Women don't need hugs any more than men do.

No they do not do it all the time. And a perception is not what he apologized for. He apologized for touching her breast. That he claims it was unintentional is hooey. No one puts their hand firmly on a woman's breast without knowing it. He put his there and he didn't move it. In fact, pictures show him digging his slightly curled fingers into her breast, and seemingly enjoying it. In the last picture Grande appears to be looking down at his hand, as if to say, "What the **** are you doing?"

If true, fair enough.

I don't read his apology, however, as apologizing for intentionally groping her breast.

Whoa! Can this be applied to any woman one meets? "No offense meant young lady, but the Bible says I can squeeze your tits."

The word of god says!!!

Funny even the most severe lieralists will suddenly start stammering on these types of verses depending on their preference and claim context. Usually its jesus made that verse not true by dying and rising from thr dead literally, factually, scientifically!.

Pay close attention how that works! What they want literal is literal what we do not want is not literal . Very convient!!!!

Why would this, in particular, make me happy?

You seem to feel a man who accidentally touched someone while not looking where he was hugging should be further excoriated. If it helps put things in perspective, Jesus was beaten and killed for that pastor's sin and ours, and all those who don't find repentance, IMHO, will spend eternity in Hell.

For this reason, I tend to worry about skeptics who daily post assaults on Christians and Christian doctrine. How about a week of posts where you point out shortcomings among skeptics? Because posting about Jesus and His people daily feels like your hypocrisy to me.

I don't see it as accidental.

Ah, and now we know the reason for the OP. You have a dirty mind, stop thinking about the sex lives of Christians and be chaste. I say this as a friend. :)
Whereas you're so disgusted by sex you can't even bear topics involving it. My condolences on your frailty. :D
