Atheistically
the "Spirit of the Lord" demonstrates that there isn't this automatic inability for jews of the period to reflect on the nature of the one God in a similar way.
There was everything but similar during the first century.
Most people do not recognize how multi cultural and diverse Judaism was.
Hellenist had been worshipping Judaism for centuries as you notice, some very skilled as any Israelite or any Jew. The one god was important to all, the power of one all purpose god served many valuable functions and became very popular. So popular the martyrdom of Galilean named Isho [Jesus] that it started the divorce of Hellenistic Judaism from cultural Judaism.
Monotheism was spreading, and gentiles in the Diaspora could worship the corrupt Emperor as "son of god" and many other pagan deities for different occasions. OR they could worship the selfless man that was crucified for your sins as "son of god" who had a pure heart. And to top that off, you would no longer be associated with what was perceived as trouble making rebellious Jews.
