Of course God makes that determination... And the book informs us on what some of his determinations are.Wouldn't god make that determination? God wouldn't be beholden to nor restricted by a book written by man.

If the energy gained from eating meat is used for a holy purpose, the soul of the animal eaten is elevated. If I truly believe that animals had a soul, I probably wouldn't kill and eat them.

We are not eating "souls", we are eating meat.If I truly believe that animals had a soul, I probably wouldn't kill and eat them.
So then what's the difference between me killing and eating an animal and eating a human? We are not eating "souls", we are eating meat.
A person who is cruel to an animal or a human will be questioned about it.
How does that work? I mean how do you think animals get to heaven?I didn't say there were no animals in heaven, I said animals don't go to heaven when they die.
Umm .. murder is a major sin .. it is not forbidden to sacrifice an animal for food or clothing. So then what's the difference between me killing and eating an animal and eating a human?
I suppose they are born there. Why would earth be the only place with animals? Perhaps they're different than the ones here. How does that work? I mean how do you think animals get to heaven?
Forbidden by whom? I agree but it makes sense to me because animals are never said to have eternal life.Umm .. murder is a major sin .. it is not forbidden to sacrifice an animal for food or clothing.
I sure do hope that earth is not the only place with animals, but what reason do you have to believe that animals are in heaven?I suppose they are born there. Why would earth be the only place with animals? Perhaps they're different than the ones here.
Revelations.I sure do hope that earth is not the only place with animals, but what reason do you have to believe that animals are in heaven?
I’m the designated left behinder, so I’ll be caring for the pets after the family goes floating away. It's a business opportunity. From After The Rapture Pet Care - After The Rapture Pet Care:
"A couple weeks later Carol came back and suggested we start After The Rapture Pet Care together. She said she had asked several Christian friends the same question she’d asked me, and every one of them would pay for a service to ensure the care of their pets after the Rapture. I had also asked some fellow Christians their thoughts. In every case they wished there was a way to prepare for their pets’ survival."
With all due respect, I believe those verses are symbolic, not literal, so I do not believe that means there are horses or armies in heaven.Revelations.
Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.
I will come and help you take care of the pets since I am also a left behinder.I’m the designated left behinder, so I’ll be caring for the pets after the family goes floating away.
I’ll remember that!I will come and help you take care of the pets since I am also a left behinder.
Religious radio was just talking about animals not going to heaven. Haha. What a ridiculous thing to talk about. You going to tell your child that? Of course everything goes to heaven, even the dust!
this Heaven you all are dwelling on ,is it biblical or from some Pagon concept? if pagon
(raspberry) it really does not matter. invent what ever you like . if from the bible then there are rules that must be fallowed.
"resurrected after the end war on Earth?"In the OT it's where only God lived. There are illusions in the NT to people going there but that is more related to the Persian myth they adopted about a general resurrection at the end of the world. Why go to heaven when all members of the religion are going to be resurrected after the end war on Earth?
But the idea is from Greek thought:
During the period of the Second Temple (c.515 BC – 70 AD), the Hebrew people lived under the rule of first the Persian Achaemenid Empire, then the Greek kingdoms of the Diadochi, and finally the Roman Empire.[47] Their culture was profoundly influenced by those of the peoples who ruled them.[47] Consequently, their views on existence after death were profoundly shaped by the ideas of the Persians, Greeks, and Romans.[48][49] The idea of the immortality of the soul is derived from Greek philosophy[49] and the idea of the resurrection of the dead is derived from Persian cosmology.[49] By the early first century AD, these two seemingly incompatible ideas were often conflated by Hebrew thinkers.[49] The Hebrews also inherited from the Persians, Greeks, and Romans the idea that the human soul originates in the divine realm and seeks to return there.[47] The idea that a human soul belongs in Heaven and that Earth is merely a temporary abode in which the soul is tested to prove its worthiness became increasingly popular during the Hellenistic period (323 – 31 BC).[40] Gradually, some Hebrews began to adopt the idea of Heaven as the eternal home of the righteous dead.[40]
