I agree. I remember talking about religion with a Roman Catholic friend who went to the last Roman Catholic World Youth Day. And she said it was so amazing to be there with Roman Catholics from every continent, every country, every race, culture, language - all of it. And she said it makes Roman Catholicism a universal faith, and this is something she really loves.
And I didn't think of it at the time, but since then I thought - well, maybe Islam is similar? There are Muslims from every continent, every country, every race, culture and language. There are as many different varieties as there are varieties of Roman Catholics. So it's a really beautiful thing.
And even if we don't always agree, and we don't always get along, at least we're all working towards the same goal in our ways.
