Place of permanent peace and joy.

In few words, troubled life is hell, Either this trouble may occur on this earth, or in any subtle region.. Its hell.

Today the people who are leading a peaceful/joyful life on this earth can be in troubled circumstances tomorrow, as the circumstances for man can never stay permanent on this earth, this earth can also be defined as hell.

Similarly.. some souls who are leading a joyful time in subtle regions now, can be in troubled circumstances later, as this joyful time can also never stay permanent for those souls there, these subtle regions can also be said as hell.

Now the question arise, Which place is the permanent place of joy and peace ?
The answer is heaven/god.

God created this whole universe for us to feel the pain of segregation, As there is no other place of permanent joy/happiness other than god/heaven. Thus everyplace other than god/heaven is hell.

Any question ? :)

No, actually, it's being right Here; right NOW. The rest is the specious window-dressing of the presumptuous.

To me, this is the "grand illusion" because there never was, never is and never will be any so-called "separation". There is only Oneness.

Any question ? :)
No. I have this covered. Thanks any ways. :D

I just today finished reading Where There Is Light by Paramahansa Yogananda. In it he stresses that this life, its pleasure, pain, finding or losing God, how we react and are reacted to are all within our control; we make our own realities. This life is hell if we make it hell; this life can be filled with God if we choose.

dear prabhu ji ,

I hope you take no ofence in my exchanging "segrigation" for seperation :)

pain of seperation ? ...as there is no permenant happiness in seperation from god ,

so , yes I agree , the only place of true lasting happiness is in unity with god .:)

no questions

Another view of this matter is:

Why would god:
A) Create less thans, diluting god's substance?
B) Want it to feel pain/separation

In my opinion:
A) God does not create less thans.
B) The reason for the artificial, never-was separation is to give birth to more subjectivities, who themselves do likewise, spawning an infinitude of god-consciousnesses, all as once, which never grows or diminishes. In other words, God, insofar as God can be said to want anything, wants Others to experience what God experiences as God, with God, infinite rightness, consciousness and bliss, while simultaneously admitting the existence of no Other.

I don't think there is particularily anything wrong with this place. What is wrong, what causes suffering is becoming attached to this place to where it becomes our only truth.

If you can accept this existence is not permanent then it is not really bad. Life becomes an experience, an adventure. A story that you have your own part in making.

Seperation is a necessary illusion so we can play our seperate rolls.

another veiw .... the plant produces a seed , the seed it self is not or does not possess the quality of the plant but has the potential to reach a maturity in which case it will possess the same quality and characteristic as the mother plant .

in this case the seperation is that of the not yet realised , as oposed to the fully realised

if we were born fully perfected , fully god realised , why were we born ?

Namaste Mataji

In my opinion, birth holds the key of differentiation on the material level. The material tattva contains within it the subtle seeds of all the other tattvas.

The stage is set by time and space, energy is projected through the universe on a journey 'across' spacetime, changing as it goes, generating patterns, patterns that eventually give rise to living beings, that eventually give rise to conscious living beings which, just as biophysical structures must use membranes to differentiate their chemical structures/environment from the outer environment, the consciousness must individuate and prioritize itself in order to survive.

Birth thus, is the key of individuation. This individuation is what's needed for the Subject to create multiple, indeed infinite, provisional Subjects.

The nearest I can explain it is: say you are one being. Alone. You're not lonely; in fact you're supremely blissful. But wouldn't it be wonderful if others could experience this as well? But how to bring them into being then? An ignorance and blindness has to be effectively feigned, the blinking of the eyes of Brahman.

Of course there never was one being, all alone, who then created others, and there never was more than one being, and it cannot really be explained, but that's as near as I can think to phrase it.

The material process unfolds so as to transform into a perfect, eternal materialized reality hosting those prepared for eternal life - on a collective levels, whereas on the individuals, they may experience this original state by virtue and grace at any time through application of the practice.

Let's come back to the plant metaphor.

There is a tree, it sheds its seeds. From it, other seeds grow, becoming trees identical to the first. Somehow, these trees are still inside the first tree.

These trees shed their own seeds, which become trees, identical to the first, actually being the first as well, as the first is all others and yet itself. Etc. etc.

Are we seeing the same thing here?

It seems to me that most people crave permanence. Everything known to exist in the universe from cells to suns is impermanent and changing, but people want permanence.

I view the concept of a permanent place of joy and peace as probably just wishful thinking. Far more useful, I think, is to cultivate the ability to accept and find value in that which is impermanent, and embrace it for what it is.

Is Nirvana not Moksha by another name?
Moksha is already an extremely broad concept that seems to range from dissolving into conscious oneness to uniting but remaining partially separate from, a personal god. Nirvana is a similar but distinct alternative, and also broad in and of itself.

Thanks for leaving your permanent place of peace and joy for some time, to respond this thread. :)

Again thank you for leaving your permanent place of peace and joy for some time and entering into this grand illusion (thread) :)
