Do we have control of them "forming their own opinions and ideas about the universe"? Do we have control of them "ignoring the instructions"? It doesn't seem like we have control of anything.

We give them free will. They can accept the copy of the perfect chip and get to Earth or they can concoct their own, or carry on passing down currupted chips, until eventually by chance or realisation they come upon the truth.(we have control over the planets weather/tidal and land systems also)

btw..through the planets histor we have realised that there are have been many varied bots grouped together and catered for their differences by sending different but still truthful chips/programs via saviourbots/prophetbots etc.....explained mathmatecally as two sums... 19+7=26 or 12x2+2=26...both different but giving the same answer.

They chose to want to find out themselves rejecting the perfect program we gave them, we presented the program to them as it is, for them to decide whether or not they wanted to accept, we want them to be with us again as their real nature is to serve us which brings them fulfilment and makes us one again.Though lots-a-bots are still under the impression that they can find the answer by examining the materials and history of Ponder, they dismantle the chips down to their smallest parts examine and discuss the componenents over and over again in the vain hope of stumbling upon the worthwhile answers.

(think the stewardship of the delicate environment may be placed back into the hands of the bots...but they must be careful)

No actually, we care only untill we made the improved versions. Because after that, those robots we cared about will just be older models..

What we have told them and most do not realise is they are not really those robots, but the pure conciousness trapped within, we developed a way to harness this and put them there because they were disruptive souls in the hope that all would learn from the pure chip carriers we send from time to time, but there are pure chip holders there and in there silibraries they hold programs of the perfect chip, but it is unsavioury to most because they want to enjoy the material world, and the pleasures of the metal.

With our ability to do everything listed as a premise to this exercise, why would we continue to desire their service? We would appear all knowing and all powerful, right? because that service direct to us is what makes them truly contented that is /was there souls purpose, there are many religions and religious bots on ponder but these are mainly ponderly religions based on ponderly affairs still identifying with the mainframe.
What we witness today on planet ponder is merely many corrupt forms of this service, we have no religion here on Earth anymore we can see the creator directly and know him.(this is a very different and distant future Earth of course from the one you are presently situated on)...the trouble is also that when the individual robots come to the end of their days the conciousness will have to find another housing and may end up in macinery that we are unable to have direct contact with, so it is important that they act for the advancement of themself.We have put these same arguments to him to save the bots, but it is their free will, they have chosen to learn this way.

If the robots are that advanced they must be sending us information without conscious thought as a sub-routine. No need for us to ever care about what they are doing amongst themselves.

But most have not realised yet that they are really pure conciousness, the robot is the housing for this spark.When the bodies of the ones who have realised and followed the true program breakdown, then the pattern of the energy surrounding the freed spark will fit ours so that will teleport the conciousnes back.I am writing this from the point of view of spirit,we still have humans on earth with their material bodies who do not fully understand , so if the bots who are trying to follow the truth will end up with a suitable but not perfect pattern to enable them to be born into the body of a human or any other species here on earth depending on what knowledge they have gained on Ponder.We do know all about them and what their actions are, but most do not know of the true us.When we have presented this truth before "as it is" we have been atacked by them.
