I had a roomate once who had the problem of always seeing 666 as related to himself. He also would occasionally envision himself in hell. He was very typical though in his life, not particularly vengeful or difficult. Years later when I saw the film 23 it helped me to understand.

You, Rebecca, are in denial about death I think. Death does hurt usually, but its short when the moment arrives. Also numerology is not your strong suit, and I think you should see 666 not as a warning but as representative of all the things humanity has trouble getting out of itself: political corruption, inequality, hate etc. These arise independently in each generation and are part of us. They are in Revelation, because it is there to remind us to keep going, keep fighting, despite all the problems. More than once the book Revelation says "This calls for the saints to be patient." Saints are the ones who always suffer under the worlds systems.

Here is an opinion worth your consideration: life and death in the gospel appear to be ways of looking at righteous versus unrighteous living. It appears entering Christ is resurrection, but this does not satisfy many people. Many want to see a physical resurrection, so all of the elements in the Bible get broken down and reasigned to support that backward conclusion. Then death itself becomes a punishment to them, but death is natural and makes way for more people. Its no punishment unless you let your fear of it dwell on your mind.

Hi

Really in need of some help.
A few months ago I had thoughts in my head by who i was told God telling me I was going to die soon and go to hell and my family will all turn their backs on me.
Recently I’ve found out I’m actually
Dying and haven’t got long left! I’ve been seeing the number of the beast on posters (I saw a nhs emergency fire poster today with 666 on instead of 999. I’ve been seeing ravens even though they aren’t supposed to live in my area, my rosaries have been broken 3 timesand 1 of them had holy water in that just disappeared.
I’ve broken all 10 commandments ( the murder was 2 abortions), I’ve been selfish all of my life and many people have suffered because of me. I don’t want to be like this. I’ve asked god for forgiveness but the thoughts in my head from God are saying I don’t have forgiveness. And something deep down is a feeling I’m not sorry even though I want to be! I’ve been bad since I was a child and so selfish. I’m going to hell and have let everyone down. I don’t want to be the person I am. Can’t cope with this. I’ve had too many signs. What do I do?

The Qu'Ran says you can live an entirely bad life and do one good thing right before you die and get into heaven!

I’m dying. This is what I’m experiencing.

My question is what kind of death you are having? There's death of the body. There's death of the "lower" self. As others have posted, we need to know more before we can really try to offer the help you are seeking.

the means are the ends
Sorry to hear about your bad news.
Look up 1 John 4:1-4 and test the spirit with it. Have the thing tell you what it means to it.
One thing I'll say is repent of your past sins. If you had another 10 years and would keep living as you have, you have not repented your sins. If in that 10 years, you would give up those sins and live as Jesus and God intended, then you have repented and your faith will make you well (emotionally). That is the best advice I can give, change your mind about the commission of the sins and they will leave you be.

Get to an ER and ask for psychiatric help, and ask to see a Christian chaplain. Call on the name of Jesus right now while you are on your way to the er. I have had thoughts like that so I know there is no shame in receiving mental healthcare. When our neurons misfire for whatever reason, we can have all kinds of scary thoughts. I love you, and if you want to pray with me, say the word. If not, I still love you. A peaceful mind is my prayer for you. Love, Dana.
