If the Bloomberg, the CNN's, the NBC's, want to surpass 20th Century FOX in the news rating game, the current Cable news format needs to go. Even if ratings were not a priority maybe my news format and network could be funded like PBS. Anyway what I would really like to see is a news channel that has a computer generated anchor report only the news, no ex-model lovely eye candy anchors , no celebrities personal life details, no personal accusations of the current politicians or their families problems JUST THE NEWS delivered by a Max-Headroom type anchor. It could be delivered every hour with science and other programming in the middle, even some fluff may be allowed. till only HARD NEWS would be allowed in the hourly segments.

I am so freaking sick of flicking on the news and seeing Trumps face on the screen on all six news channels 24/7 31 days a month!!! Either its Trump or some cleb' that has fornicated with their pool girl or boy or both, or some other crap that only a brain dead moron could watch day after freakin' day....Even if the big networks would not fund and create a true all news network, maybe a talented you tube or internet blogger could sell the idea at least for start up funding etc. I am sure it would pay for itself within a year.

If the news about Trump was reported without the slanted fluff I would agree. Its insanely easy to see how MSNBC for example is biased against the man. And that is what I don't like. Did you catch the Colbert show a few nights ago?

They even show baby photos, etc. A complete pathetic shame. News from abroad are expensive and thus, we get few. We have to go to a foreign web newspaper or youtube if we want detailed foreign information.

Truly a beautiful country though! I would rather watch your small town news than what passes for news here in the USA on the big three (or four). Hey Agorman are Americans hated there as much as we are in much of the world? Maybe we could correspond a little? I am interested in moving and living very modestly in a country with a good exchange rate. I am not what was once called 'an ugly American' I love people of different cultures etc and blend in anywhere.

Well, it seems membership prefers the Stephen Colbert variety instead of real news.I am not saying that the variety T&A cable news net wood' news programming should be DC'ed. I am saying that most days I don't have time to learn the details about Donald wearing underwear made in Russia. Most days I want the news unadulterated with 'fluff'. Yes I can and use the web or paid radio etc but I want a free new refreshing format news network that has deep enough pockets to hire good reporters etc. I would still invest in something like that, but probably lose my big backside in the process! That's OK I didn't think bottled water would go main stream either.....!!!!Sigh!!!! ~
