The god Ganesha is a straw man? You think the Christian god (whichever version you care to choose) is more likely than Ganesha? I think they all stand on equal footing. I ask you again, am I arrogant for next accepting the possible existence of an elephant-headed god? Just so we are clear, even Yahweh of the Old Testament possessed a body.

I don't see that it is arrogant to reject emphatically the possible existence of supernatural beings for which there has never been any evidence.
