Civil war guys! Muslims vs non-muslims. Prepare soon for that scenario. Unless Islam is terminated somehow; maybe by nuking the Qaaba or something. In fact after reading a little of the Old Testament, I'm surprised orthodox Jews don't go around stoning people to death on the streets because they don't respect the Shabbat. Abrahamic religions always caused troubles and will keep causing them, simply because they have intolerance sanctioned in their scriptures.

Because you have no idea how Jewish jurisprudence works?

Oh guys come on! Do I really have to tell you this? Why do you live in denial? See:

Bible: Intolerance
Intolerance in the Quran
No, you are the one with no clue what you are talking about. You are just bashing religions you have done no serious research about. And if you did do research, it was incredibly one sided. I love the way you clearly know everything about Judaism already, when even the Charedim spend their entire lives studying Torah and Talmud and still insist they need to study more. I'll tell them to close all the Yeshivot shall I? Because now we have you.

LOL, I have an idea; I'm going to write a book posing as a prophet, telling God says all women have to submit to all my wishes. Those who aren't agree, must be stoned to death (curiously, God needs people to stone other people, He can't just stop the hearts of all infidels Himself, at the same time, using his almighty power).

Then I'll impose my "holy" book to people with the most horrible violence imaginable and (if I don't end up in jail or in a nuthouse), in 100 years people will build academies to find out if there are some secret codes in my phrase "God said all women have to submit to the prophet's wishes". Some will say "no, what the prophet really said is that his wishes were women should have the same rights as men, so it's good they submit to his will". etc. Some others would even numerologically analyze my phrase to relate it with other, harmless phrase of my book. And so on; the experts would come up with every argument imaginable for not admitting that my book was just the work of a crook; written with the intent of raping women with impunity. Worse of all, there are "prophets" who have done similar things in many cults; using interpretations of the Bible to get away with it.

Maybe I should publish my holy book on Amazon. I might finally have some sex with it. Why didn't I think of this before?

BTW, seems those orthodox Jews in Israel that go to throw stones to people who get out of synagogues for not being Jewish enough, also don't have any idea of "jurisprudence".

Antitheists never tire of coming up with crap do they? Your entire post shows your total ignorance of Tanach and Judaism. Well done. Well done indeed.

Well I see much worse crap coming from people of Abrahamic religions since decades ago, in the news. The Christian that commits a crime and says "God made me do it", or kills a gay because the Bible is against gays or steals and then says "The Devil made me do it"... etc. The fanatic Jews that attack other Jews or justify having created the State of Israel in the worst place of the World possible, because they believe that's Yaweh's "promised land" (When archaeologists say Exodus actually never happened), Rabbis saying we goyim are like animals, Muslims killing infidels for Allah... If pagans really did human sacrifices they didn't reach the scale of Abrahamic religions. In any case they did them 2k years ago.

Good job derailing a thread about a bombing and making it about your own intolerance. Not even I, a well known jerk, would try to make a thread about a bombing into a soap box for my own personal hang ups.

I condemn terrorist attacks like this one no matter who does them: Police hunt suspects after bomb thrown at Minnesota mosque

I have no issue with people arguing until they are blue in the face over religion, but religious freedom is paramount to a free and just society, and any hostile attack on any place of worship, regardless of faith, is an attack on religious freedom which makes it a threat to all of us, no matter what we believe.

I could only like your post, instead of giving it a "winner" rating, due to the fact that many "houses of worship" are hot beds of Evil. Around here though, those sorts of places are Christian not Muslim.

It depends on what that exactly entails. According to Mike Pence, it includes discrimination against LBGT. To some, this means performing body modifications on their non-consenting and new born children to take a knife to the child's genitals. For some it means not taking your child to a doctor when they are sick. It teaches religious creation mythos as science fact in public school science class rooms, and tells our teenage children condoms really just don't work and that female sexuality is comparable to a piece of scotch tape or chewing gum. It so desperately clings to the First to justify its existence and ways, but yet conveniently ignores when the First says our government is secular.
If anything, we have given religion too much freedom, too much leeway, and we accept too much crap over it. Religious freedoms need reigned in, and we must just accept we have to put reason and logic before ancient superstitions when it comes to law, policy, and what we will or will not accept.

I'm guessing you've never been in the position of this "freedom of religion" being used in such a manner that your own civil rights and liberties are put beneath "religious freedoms" so the Church and its ilk can discriminate against you and be provided legal protections when they do it? Just so as long as it is done in accordance with a "sincerely held" religious belief.

I am gay, I have been all my life and have endured far worst than that, much worst. However, we don't fight back with bombs, we use our words, we use the courts, but not bombs. We use the media, we use art, we use protest, but never bombs.

Our job is to change their mind, it is not to suppress religious freedom. If there are harmful religious practices then we need to remind people that the laws are secular. If a law is unjust then we need to work to change that law. If people are being harmed then we need to work to protect those people, but it will always come back to the need to change the way society views these problems.
