Oh, Slate....I knew what to expect.
They make a big deal of Goodman being black,
& facing down perpetrators who were all white.
Meanwhile, race (white) wasn't mentioned for
the one cop who lost his life in this attack.

Good on Goodman for thinking on his feet though.

I say charge them with attempted murder, insurrection, treason and everything else they did.

We've already been treated to one traitor whining that he's been put on a no-fly list.

One wonders if he would have been as effective baiting the insurgents to chase him had he not been Black. It's a reasonable speculation, given the reports that a large number of the insurgents were members of White Supremacists organizations. At any rate, he was probably the happiest Black man in the history of America to find himself chased by an angry mob of White men.

I’ll bet the officer noticed the racial disparity between himself and the angry mob. Unlike you, and me, he didn’t have the luxury of not noticing. The article takes his perspective.
