The right have always preferred such persuits as sipping cocktail in luxury lounges and loathing mr average unless they can make profit from them so what is you gripe?

A question @ChristineM
Do you side with banking élites or not?

You ask me questions all the time...so I guess I can ask you questions too.;)

I side with the commoners.
I am a compassionate capitalist.

I totally side against elites who are trying to destroy the United States. :)

They always did.
Some brave politician wanted to fight the Deep State, but he was shushed.

No he doesn't. He calls himself a centrist politician.

PS: Gatekeeping is referring to the activities people who control information flow in a system. The media are gatekeepers of information as would marketing agency, PR people. In slang it refers to people who control access and membership to a special group. What you are referring to seems to be more like a form of demagoguery.

His ideology has been defined Attrape-tout by politologists.
It is exactly what I mean by gatekeeping. To pretend to side with all ideologies in order to win the elections, that is winnig the 100% of the people's vote.
But actually he is an employee of these banking élites. Do you admit he is ?

What of the non-elites who want war, socialism,
authoritarianism, violence, & other socioeconomic ills?

They are bad people?

What one thing do you think is most responsible for the current rich- richer
poor- poorer trend in the USA?

Despite not answering my question and instead copping out with a counter question in an attempt to shift the conversation away from embarrassment, I believe i have answered your question several times in the past. For one last time, i may not be a fan but they are necessary for the functioning of a person, a family, a business, a government, a country, in fact, the world. Without them we would in all probability still be enjoying the middle ages, and dictated to by the whims of religion.

Now please can you do me the honour of answering what is your gripe with the left wanting to enjoy cocktail parties as the right has long since enjoyed?

The right at least admits to side with Capitalism, so they are not pretending.

As for the banking Seigniorage, I define it legalized usury.
So I do not think that legalized usurers are philantropists.
They are just people who suck the nations's blood through Seigniorage.

I am not speaking of honest banks who do their job of lending.

Wtf had a cocktail party to do with capitalism?

I don't care how you define it, the fact is, its legal.

As does any human being who wants to make a profit. Even your hero (supposedly) The lowly shopkeeper, has his markup, a percentage profit.

And you still haven't answered my question

The business owner produces something.
The shopkeeper produces something.
The baker produces something.
Honest work.

Seigniorage is usury that exploits these people's work.
Who gave them this right? God?

Monte Paschi di Siena, in Italy was destroyed by shady people.

A banker provides the money for these poor downtrodden people to invest in the means of production.

Who did? You did, and everyone else who borrows money to improve their lives.

So i am assuming you have no intention of answering my question... Nuf said, thanks

I find banks very useful.
What a miserable situation it would be without them.
Ever tried borrowing from other lenders? Ugh.

.

Not borrowed but i see the adverts on TV. With interest rates of 99.9%, 190% i have even seen 1050% APR though i believe they no longer trade

Banks are far more competitive.

I think the State only should issue money.
Not a bank.
