Political gatekeeping

I've had some interesting battles over
exactly what is owned by whom.

In the twenties we had a Prime Minister that by royal decree expropriated so many hectars of unused land from large landowners.

Those lands were redistributed among farmers.

Interesting. All that and more.

I was supposed to fit in as corporate
lawyer but I am no good at it, hate it.
It sounds like hateful work...lots'o details & searching
for more details...& sitting & writing & reading.
I liked creating & designing things. That is fun.

We had much of that here in the 1800s.
The landowners were herded into small
reservations & deprived of many rights.
That policy has largely ended. Good.

What of the non-elites who want war, socialism,
authoritarianism, violence, & other socioeconomic ills?

Nobody listens to non-elites and their opinions about what they want. Policy is decided at the elite level, not by those below that.

First of all, let us define what gatekeeping is.

Gatekeepers are people who pretend to side with a particular ideology, but actually they have been hired by the opposite ideology to deceive the people, pushing them to follow them.
In politics, certain élites hire these politicians (gatekeepers) who will claim they are against the very same élites that they hired them.

This is I believe, is the real political fraud of the 21st century.
Since the Left has always been supposed to defend the weak and to be liked by the people (middle class and the less fortunate), the banking élites hire, pay those leftist politicians, to pretend to side with the commoners, but actually they are totally loyal to the banking and financial élites.

That is why the biggest fraud is before our eyes in Europe. People like Macron or Draghi claim they are leftist...actually they are just bankers or bankers' employees.

And that is, mesdames and messieurs...what the European Left has become. The lounge-loving and carefree Left.
They call themselves lefttists, but they despise the populace (grocers, bakers, fishermen). They prefer to sip cocktails in luxurious lounges, talking with bankers.

The bbc did this in the coverage of brexit, the bbc has some of the richest leftists you’ll ever see.

The large landowners were aristocrats who had received the land by the times of the Holy Roman Empire. Feudal ties were anachronistic in the 1920s.

America was colonized and the first colonizers took all the lands. And those who arrived later saw that there was no land left.

Overall, I agree that most politicians are phonies who pretend to be with the masses, but are really with the elites. In the U.S., they're sometimes referred to as "limousine liberals."

Perhaps a good way to determine who is with the elite and who isn't would be to observe the tone and direction of the mainstream media. Whoever gets the most negative coverage is who the elite hate the most. That can sometimes have the opposite effect on the people. Some people might reason, if the elite hate someone, then that must be someone on the people's side.

Exactly.
We call them radical chic here...because they want to look and sound chic to distinguish themselves from the populace (that they repel).
But they still call themselves radicals.

It's free in the sense that your personal usage of healthcare has no impact on its personal cost to you.

Our health care is free.
But people do pay an incredible amount of taxes. On property, on sales, on labor.
As result, we have free healthcare, affordable university, free school, etc...

Speaking of Seigniorage, if the Treasury of the United States had the chance to issue all the money they want, they would use it to build public hospitals, to create a free healthcare system.
There would be no devaluation because there would be an equivalent increasing of real wealth (hospitals, highways, bridges) in the overall GDP.

So we wouldn't need a tax increase to finance it, eh.
Why are Italian taxes so high then?

Because our State issues no money.
It is a private bank called ECB in Frankfurt who does.

So high taxes are for paying the intetests to those usurers, who accept our bonds as guarantee.

I wonder which economists support the idea of
eliminating taxation in favor of fiat currency?

We owe literally anything to the Americans.
With the 1945 liberation, the Assemblea Costituente wrote a new, perfect, secular, socialist Constitution that replaced that decadent, monarchic Statute.
Saying bye bye to the king gave us that.
So we are more socialist than ever thanks to the Americans ;):)

Btw...it seems that those economists pretend our Constitution even exists.
