Of course, all people believe in somethingAtheists are believers too.
I always find it interesting how many people can't understand the difference between "atheism isn't a belief" and "atheists have no beliefs."Atheists are believers too.
I can understand why this might happen:I always find it interesting how many people can't understand the difference between "atheism isn't a belief" and "atheists have no beliefs."
Yes, many are. But not in politics.Atheists are believers too.
It's also a good way to turn people off of religion, or at least the dominant American form of it, which is antithetical to bedrock American principals church-state separation and bodily autonomy. Some people object to the church imposing itself on them, violating the Constitution's separation clause, limiting their freedoms, and threatening their health and well-being.Politics has nothing to do with religion. Until the religious push their way in to politics to have their policies and beliefs in statute as is happening in America. A sure way to turn many atheists off politics
Simple concepts seem to elude many theists, like using the word belief without stating one and calling that a belief, or the difference between saying one doesn't believe in gods and saying that he knows that none exist, or as another poster noted, the difference between having no god belief and having no beliefs at all.Atheism is defined using the word "belief"
Atheists are people comfortable without a religion or a god belief.the-religion-of-atheists.
Atheists are believers too.
Politics is not a religion. A person can be highly invested in politics, but that doesn't make it a religion.Atheists are believers too.
Oh oh oh really? I believe your point is a bit trite, does that count? What does it mean to 'believe' in politics? Do you mean to believe that by political means human affairs can be governed? Is that a belief or an observation on how politics generally works? Or are you thinking of some metaphysical branch of invisible politics I haven't heard of?Atheists are believers too.
Ah but do you acknowledge the existence of stamps? My religion is living history.
If you define "religion" as something that someone does in their free time. So basically synonymous with "hobby", What's your hobby, Christianity?
Another hobby of mine is not collecting stamps.
I believe you're wrong.Atheists are believers too.
Unbelievable!I believe you're wrong.
Inconceivable!Unbelievable!
Are you sure you know what that word means, Vizzini?Inconceivable!
The very definition of an atheist is someone who LACKS belief in God/gods.Atheists are believers too.
Is politics then the religion of American Evangelicals as well?Atheists are believers too.
Old "habits" die hard! Remove 'H' and "a bit" remains. Remove 'A' and "bit" remains. Remove 'B' and still "it" remains.Atheists are believers too.
