This can go for those that either are Christian Wiccan or were ever Christian Wiccan.

Short and simple...What came first? The Christianity or the Wicca?

I was a Christian (almost twice Pastor) and then started incorporating wicca into my faith
And you gotta know I did think about you when I made this poll. :D Before I started worshiping the Gods and Goddesses of Ancient Egypt, I was Christian Wiccan for a while. I was a life-long Christian. I then added Wicca. The more I learned and opened my mind though the less sense Christianity made. I won't get into that in this thread though. That being said I did choose the first option because it is what had happened to me for the time that I was Christian Wiccan.

It seems pretty one-sided so far, huh? lol but i guess with only three people it's too soon to draw anytype of conclusions. :p

I'm no longer Christian or Wiccan, but this is difficult to explain.
I went from Pagan-y Wiccan, to Buddhist, to Christian, to Christian Wiccan. So how do I answer? :D

We don't have a lot of Christian Wiccans to start with...

Yea I noticed. I think that a lot, like me, tried it and it just didn't work for them. Anubis has His own plans for me. :D

Well you are just different :))
Go with your heart. I would say you found Christianity after Wicca if those are listed in order.

I'm glad te_lanus provided this most interesting post !

I am seriously reading several Wiccan Books and am facinated by
profound spirituality involved ! Especially regarding Medieval / Celtic
Witchcraft.

But my dilemma of course continues to be "How To Incorporate" as the
above post states. Shall not the worship of the "Horned God", the Moon
Goddess, and the Christian God all become rather conflicting and perhaps
chaotic ???

I must admit that Wicca is tremendous and without doubt could easily
involve a lifetime of study and practice...... but "Incorporation" ......
Please enlighten me on this matter if you would friends .

Thank You / M/S 1

There is a book that deals with the ideas of Christian Wicca. It is Christian Wicca by Nancy Chandler Pittman. I couldn't get into it though. I tried, but shortly after starting I dropped Christianity and turned into an "Ancient Egyptian Mythology Wiccan."

I do not see how one could be wiccan and christian at the same time.
The Bible speaks against witchcraft as rebelion.

Well some are. Probably the best book on this is Christian Wicca by Nancy Chandler Pittman. By the way, Wicca is a lot more than just Witchcraft. Oh, and I see this was your first post so welcome to RF. :)

Hi M/S 1

For me it was easy. As my way is to incorporate Pre-Israelite Canaan Gods into my faith. Butit is something one has to work out for yourself.

Raised Christian, found it Holey, research Wicca, found it Holey. Research more, found they cover each other's holes rather nicely.
