Poll (kinda) ... How long do you stay on RF? How frequently visit?

I'm confused. Are we debating the frequency and duration of my visits to RF?

Yes. Some of us are concerned.

Anyway, I check in every day or two, but I don't participate as often as I used to.

Ah, ok. Nevermind.

I can stop any time. Really.

I have some snake oil that can help you actually stop whenever you want to. It costs only $27.99 USD per dram. How much might I put you down for?

That is a daily routine.

I used to have a student who wrote about his daily routine literally every time the assignment was 'Free Topic.' He was very proud of it.

As I said in another thread, once in a few days, and I try to limit myself to the subforum of my religion. In my opinion, the atmosphere in RF is much too cantankerous so that visiting the forum demands some sort of psychological strength and it doesn't always bring out the best in people, at least not in me. This forum is claimed to be "friendly", while it largely isn't, and it's claimed to be "religious", which it largely isn't either. :(
And, yeah, RF is not all that friendly and not all that religious.
I have found friendly people even among those who disagree with me. We may disagree on politics and agree on religion (or the other way around). Except for the select few in my ignore file I think I have some common ground with all regular posters.

I stop by every night.

I see the Alerts about the threads that are watched.

I look at the list of ten New Threads there on the right side.

When there's no religious threads, I leave.

(Sometimes they're foolers, titles of songs and such.)

I check quite often during the day, and how often I post depends on whether it's a topic I find interesting and would like to discuss. I don't get out of the house that often because of my ill health, fatigue, and now the colder weather, so RF is a way for me to socialize and interact with other people, even if it's online. I check the notifications first to see what's been posted or if I have a new message since the last time I logged in. I'll peruse the new threads section next, and sometimes I'll check out the recent posts if the threads I'm following don't have any new posts I'd like to comment on or if I'm not following any specific threads at the time. I do enjoy discussing and posting paranormal-related topics more than religious or political ones. I also like posting the occasional Beatles music thread. To be honest, I have had a positive overall experience on this forum, and more often than not, I truly enjoy the time I spend here.

Outa here... bye-bye!
I pop in 3 or 4 times a day, yes I'm that addicted.

Sometimes i pop right out again more often I'll stay for a while. It depends on what's happening at home and/or if i find any interesting threads.

My last visit of the day is while in bed before sleep. We go to bed around 22:00, hubby falls asleep almost instantly. Me on the other hand can never get to sleep until around midnight so i almost always spend the time on RF between playing different games on my phone.

It's more fun in the afternoon and evening when America has pulled itself out of bed.
#RFAnonymous - Help for RF addicts is in the works. Eventually. Maybe. OK, we're working on it. Working on it on napkins in bars. But we can't read them, the booz made the ink run. fun. run whatazzitagain?

I'm on everyday. Most days it's pretty frequent. I check for new stuff using "new posts" and scan the new threads on the left. In the mornings it takes about an hour to catch up. After that, it's usually just a few minutes at a time. Then in the evening I browse more slowly while I'm playing with the dog.

New threads are on the right. Oh, ya, we read right to left. Don't put the doggo on the browser, it's not a cat. (free association autism power ENGAGE!!!!!11!!)

I check in multiple times most days, other times not at all.
It's part of my regular down time routine.

Eg. Jump on a train, check messages, check WhatsApp, check RF, check realgm (basketball forum), read the news or something on a trusted site.

Tends to be first thing in the morning, train rides, or when everyone goes to sleep. Sometimes lunch time.

I lurk a lot, much more than I post. I barely post anymore as this forum has become too nasty for my tastes. It's failed its own forum mission and is dominated by leftists and antitheists, who are not welcoming towards other views. RF has a real identity crisis.
