In my opinion having less children at this point is a favor we're doing to the planet.
According to Wikipedia, "it is estimated that the population of the world reached one billion for the first time in 1804". That was less than 200 years ago, and here we are on the brink of reaching 8 billion! This is insane. The planet doesn't have the resources to sustain so many people with an economic model based on consumption.

Could be, but in their defense, the parents took them to be baptized when they were babies and didn't have a say. If every one of them had to choose as an adult, those numbers would probably be very different.

I don't particularly care what he says, since personal choice is a thing, but coming from someone who doesn't have children (that we know of) this is interesting
Does he know how much it costs and how hard it is to raise a child? Does he live on the same planet as most of us?
