I am Catholic. I have heard that ten white families own all the wealth and land in Mexico. The rich whites will not sell any land to the poor indigenous people for them to live. I do hope Pope Francis ignites massive protests in Mexico and South America, to expose horrendous racial injustices down there, but I fear the Pope, who is a white South American himself, is turning a blind eye to the racial injustice in his own country and continent. It seems Pope Francis only desires to attack America, and has a blind eye to the massive racial injustices occurring in the rest of the world.

It seems that the Pope does not tolerate "exclusion" in any form. It seems he includes all religions, atheism and humanism. That is wonderful, isn't it?
Could it be, that this Pope starts something good, but that it might take some time, before we see results?

During the last papal election, the Catholic Church really wanted to elect an African Catholic as pope. They could not find an African who had the ‘proper qualifications’. I, a Catholic, was sad. I would have preferred an (indigenous) African Catholic Pope. The Church found a South American, who they did see as having the ‘proper qualifications’ to elect as Pope. Pope Francis is born of Italian parents who migrated to Argentina in 1929.

So, stvdv, I really think the Vatican sees the Italian race as a chosen supreme race to lead Christ's Church. I do think that our Church works very hard for the 'exclusion' of races other than the Italian race, to sit in high positions of Catholic authority in the Church, like the Catholic Curia and papacy. Do you think I am just imagining this, or is there racism in the selection process of Catholic Curia and papacy?

Does anyone want to talk about Abraham’s great, great, grandson Ephraim? Ephraim’s descendants of today, bearing the blessing from God of racial advantage, is the huge elephant in the room, which we are presently faced with. The ‘Blessing of Abraham’ went to Isaac, then Jacob/Israel, then to Jacob’s grandson, Joseph’s son, Ephraim. The ‘Blessing of Abraham’ is: Myriads of descendants; great wealth; world dominant power; will grow to become a multitude of nations. Sorry ‘House of Judah’ descendants (the Jewish race of today) you were bypassed. The Jewish race, cast out of the Promised Land in 587 B.C, maintained their lineage to Abraham, to show Jesus’ lineage to king David. God cast the ‘House of Israel/Ephraim’ out of the Promised Land in 722 B.C., because of their massive sins, and scattered them to the nations, with their lineage lost in the masses, yet they still bear the ‘Blessing of Abraham’ today. Prophecy does not look good for God's, rogue, prodigal son, the descendants of Ephraim. Hosea 5:9 'Ephraim shall become a waste on the day of chastisement'.

Jesus, and Old Testament authors, tell us that, races, other than 'the natural heirs' of Ephraim, will inherit the Kingdom of God.

Isaiah 17:14
The fortress shall vanish from Ephraim and dominion from Damascus; The remnant of Aram shall become like the glory of the Israelites- oracle of the LORD of hosts. On that day The glory of Jacob shall fade, and his full body shall grow thin. Rachel is the Matriarch of Ephraim's myriads of descendants today. Rachel is not the Matriarch of the Jewish race of today. Leah is the Matriarch of Judah and his descendants of the Jewish race of today. Brothers from other mothers tried to murder Rachel's son Joseph, and left Jacob's true love Rachel, painfully childless for most of her life. Jacob/Israel blessed his true love Rachel with myriads of children, posthumously, by bypassing his twelve sons, and placing the 'Blessing of Abraham' on Rachel's grandson, Ephraim.

Francis is well aware that a sizable number of Catholics and other Christians in the United States limit the defense of “the sacredness of human life” mainly to abortion, but do not view racism, the death penalty or other forms of exclusion—like mistreatment of migrants—as life issues. In today’s message, the pope underlined the full teaching of the church regarding “the defense of the sacredness of every human life” as expressed in the Second Vatican Council. He does not want this teaching to be reduced and manipulated for political or ideological reasons.

So what is Pope Francis, and his leadership of 1.3 billion Catholics, doing to 'defend the sacredness of every human life’? Jesus tells us He is going to burn in hell those Christians, (and of course anyone), who do not properly care for the poor. To love Jesus is to obey Jesus. Jesus makes it clear that the Rich Man in His Lazarus story has not 'defended the sacredness of every human life', and caused the death of Lazarus, through lack of charity. Has Pope Francis spoken out against evil Catholics, and other people, who are not properly tithing to care for the poor? I, as a Pro-Life Catholic, and American citizen, feel I have been specifically, politically, targeted by Pope Francis, rather than Pope Francis leading Christ's Church to love Jesus, by tithing out of love for Jesus through the least of Jesus' brothers, to care for the poor.

Luke 16:19 The Rich Man and Lazarus

You seem to be presenting a disingenuously simple critique of what is often a complex issue, here confusing two different things: the monopolization of wealth with a bias against others of a different race. I think that if what you say is true, it would seem more like monopolization of land wealth is the issue, rather than racism, because monopolization would hurt lesser whites as much as it would hurt non-whites.

In any case, I can't really believe that anyone is precluded from buying property, as it is possible for anyone to buy land in Mexico at a price. Ownership costs are not cheap. More likely the indigenous people can't afford to buy property, but that is symtomatic of countries the world over, where property ownership is the preserve of the middle classes and the rich. In any case, even if the poor owned the land, the likelihood is that they would be tempted to sell it for a better life.

The problem with playing the "race" card without merit is that, if you are not careful, you only end up fomenting racial tensions and creating more poverty rather than presenting solutions. Zimbabwe only became a basket case economy after the whites were forcibly ejected from power. Now its economy is dependent on the chinese.
