Okay, here we are-

In order to post a picture in a thread, the steps you'll be taking will depend on one primary thing: if the picture is already on the internet. (Meaning that it has a web address.) If it does, go ahead and skip to the two steps.

1. Sign up for a free image-hosting site, such as Photobucket. You will have to create an account with them if you don't already have one.

2. 'Upload' the picture in question to the hosting site. This way, the photo will be on the internet.

3. 'Cut' (highlight with your mouse and then hold down the 'Cntrl' and 'c' keys) the web address.

4. Go back to the thread where you're intending to post the picture. Put your cursor where you'd like your photo to show up, then look at the very top of the posting box. There should be a little picture towards the right of all the icons. This one looks like a image of a mountain, and when you hold your cursor over it, it will say "insert image". Click this button and a small screen will pop up, asking for the link. Now 'paste' (hold down the 'Cntrl' button and then press the 'v' button) and your link should show up. Then press 'OK' and your photo should appear in the post.


I'm not very good at explaining things. :eek: Did this make any sense?
