I'm familiar with some of the positions regarding the US, Israel, and Bible prophecy. I had a good friend who insisted that it was God's will that the US give unconditional support to Israel.
Basically, it's a look at American evangelicals unconditional support for Israel no matter what.. And their political influence in U.S. politics.
I watched it. It's good. Al Jazeera has really good documentaries and so on. John Hagee is a huge coward for refusing to talk on camera.

It makes me think he doesn't really believe it and is just a grifter. They got Robert Jeffress to speak on camera about his beliefs. He's a kook, too, but at least he stood by what he believes, which is at least a bit honorable, even if it is crazy nonsense.

@David1967 thank you for posting this. As Saint Frankenstein pointed out, Al Jazeera do make very good documentaries.
Yes, I've discerned that influence to some degree, at least based on the views of some of the people I've known throughout my life. It may have been much more pronounced during the Cold War era. They may think it has to do with Bible prophecy or predictions about the end of the world. I knew one lady who believed that it was the final days and that the world was going to perish, and she seemed almost happy about it. In her eyes, since it was all the Hand of God at work, it was all okay, and everyone would be living in new kingdom after it was all over.
I just chalk it up to wanting to have something to look forward to in an uncertain world.

To be clear my previous remarks about your comment were made neither in support nor in condemnation of Israeli policy. My remarks were soley based on the ignorance and arrogance of your comments regarding Torah and Talmud. I stand by what I said. You’ve said nothing, presented nothing, to change my position.
