Romney, like most mainstream neocon Republicans, goes further than Obama in wanting to oppose Russia, calls Russia the USA's number one geopolitical foe, etc., where as Trump is the complete opposite, wanting to improve relations with Russia etc. Romney is also generally interventionist, where as Trump appears to claim to not be interventionist (only time will tell) apart from when it comes to things perceived as a direct threat like ISIS.
That doesn't make much sense, right? Why would Trump appoint someone who, on paper, seems to be the opposite?

Well I hope he doesn't. I suppose the reasoning would be bringing the party together, reassuring the establishment that a seasoned hand is in charge, healing the divide, blah blah

The same could be said of Hillary, who broke the law with her private email server. Federal regulations MANDATED that she use a government server. Not only that, but she ignored a federal subpoena and destroyed 33,000 emails along with computer equipment. The "higher standard" argument works both ways, not just for the person/team you don't like.

At this point, what does Hillary have to do with anything?

So we have two that have publicly made racist (anti-black) statements (Bannon and Sessions), two who have publicly made anti-Semitic statements (Bannon and Flynn), and then two that have made blanket condemnations of Muslims (Flynn and Bannon) so, ya, Trump is off to a wonderful start.

The fact that so many of the Trump supporters really aren't bothered by this pretty much tells us the degree of bigotry that exists within that element. And no, I will not discuss these points as all one has to do is to google name + quotes to confirm what these three have said.

Everyone who doesn't fit in with the certain enemedia's worldviews are called racists, even when it is clear that they are not.

The fact that so many certain media supporters really aren't bothered by this pretty much tells us the degree at which people are so easily deceived and just how much they enjoy false propaganda that is always negative.

They wouldn't hesitate to call a bisexual Jewish man who is married to both a black woman and a Chinese guy with adopted children from Iraq/Syria a racist and everything else in their twisted propaganda.

If there were to be any doubt about Session's racist tendencies, that would be verified by two things. One is that he never apologized for what he said, which brings up an interesting point, namely why is it that even though Hillary apologized for her server issues whereas the Trump camp and supporters never forgave her, and yet this same element expects forgiveness for Sessions even though he never apologized? Hypocrisy much.

Secondly, Sessions very early on supported Trump even though it was common knowledge that Trump had committed adultery, cheated on his 1st wife, bragged about his other affairs, cheated some sub-contractors, intentionally walked in on teenage girls changing clothes, demeaned many people including fellow Republicans, body-shamed women, bragged about how he could grope a woman and get away with it, made racist statements and had a record of discrimination in his past, never apologized for what he said or did, and then said that he needs no forgiveness from God.

With that kind of record, why would Sessions instantly support him unless he didn't see these as being serious problems? This is not a matter of "Gee, he accidentally slipped". Matter of fact, why would any person who feels any empathy for others support Trump or vote for him after he did and said such things?

Hillary didn't say such things. As far as I know, Johnson and Stein didn't. But Trump did over and over again, and Sessions well knew it, and yet it obviously didn't bother him enough to keep his distance from Trump and denounce what Trump had said. No empathy on Sessions' part; just self-centered bigotry.
