Anyone read this little pamphlet of wisdom? It was written just this century and is as packed full of wisdom as...no similes come to mind, nevertheless, it is very packed full of wisdom. It's the building block of Discordianism, which is a great little philosophy/religion that can be easily spliced into most existing beliefs.

Although I've read it online I've actually just ordered a copy from amazon. Amazing book, as you can see I'm a Discordian, very good read for anybody. If it doesn't enlighten you then it'll either make you laugh, or completely perplex you!

There's a large community of Discordians out there developing further works to expand on religious canon. 'Black Iron Prison', 'Memoirs of a Faceless Man' and the Intermittens series are some, but there's a large variety.

I like it a great deal. It's up there with my all-time favorite wisdom books - right next to the Tao te Ching and the liner notes to Supertramp's "Breakfast in America".

I just listened to an interesting podcast that included a fascinating interview with Robert Anton Wilson (one of the first popes of Discordianism) talking about the writing of the book and how it has evolved (including through RAW's own work - the Illuminatus Trilogy).
