Yes. I think they're working on the mechanics of how to make function similar to the old forum.

So you can basically talk about what ever you want in private forums?

the rules still apply, but the Private forums are much more loosely moderated.

Reason for that is that we have a staff rule that only staff members who qualify for membership in a Private forum are allowed to read the threads/posts in that forum, so reporting violations is almost entirely up to the Private forum members.

Even then we'll usually wait until a qualified staff member shows up and let them go into the private forum to see the bigger picture.

I mean if it can't be done just say so. Or something like "work in progress".

They're a work in progress. We want to make sure that the privacy of those forums is absolutely ensured before we bring them back to avoid repeating what happened last time when everyone could see them regardless of whether or not they were a member of them.
