Problems with 'man' aspect of either trinity, or demigod[Jesus Believers only

I'm just trying to come up with a way to express how Jesus is different than other men using the word manifestation. So I guess You don't understand the definition either which is cool
Manifestation of g-d means the 'spirit of the Lord', is the Persona, the person, of JESUS, is the Lord. Deific, god.

The established religious organizations that have, successfully, I might add, tried to separate the nature of the real JESUS, thusly making Him, 'just a man', and focusing only on the 'man aspect', these are texts, remember, do not have spiritual truth as a goal. They have their own agendas, and those don't involve religious or spiritual truth.

Opinions, what agenda?
Where did you hear about Jesus Christ, Desert Snake from Mel Gibson?
Or from the Book called the Bible?

I wonder if you really have seen the Bible and bothered to read it.
And what if the Bible is in conflict with what you believe - will you reject the Bible?
And follow what you like or what you think Jesus should be?

images

The Bible is screaming that Jesus Christ is a man
Accuse me of degrading Jesus if the Bible does not say Jesus is a man
But you cannot and could not because the very Scriptures records Jesus is a man
I could accuse you of being an antichrists, the enemy of Christ but you could not do the same to me
Isn't that a fact?

Jesus is the Christ of God

We should accept Jesus as the Christ of God:

“But what about you? he asked. ‘Who do you say I am?’ Peter answered, ‘The Christ of God.’” (Luke 9:20 NIV)

The Bible clearly stated that “Jesus is the Christ of God.” If Jesus is God, then God (Jesus) is the Christ of God. This is an absurdity. Thus, let us stick to what the Bible teaches about Jesus, that He is “the Christ of God.”

Jesus as the Son of God

We should accept Jesus Christ as the Son of God:

“Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” (Matthew 16:16 NIV)

Although the apostles teach that Jesus is the Son of the living God, however, the Bible also tells us that Jesus, the Son of God, is a man:

“And when the centurion, who stood there in front of Jesus, heard his cry and saw how he died, he said, ‘Surely THIS MAN WAS THE SON OF GOD!’” (Mark 15:39, NIV, emphasis mine).

Thus, the Bible clearly teaches that Jesus is the Son of the living God, and not the living God.

Jesus as Lord

We should accept Jesus Christ as our Lord:

“So, all the people of Israel should know this truly: GOD HAS MADE JESUS — THE MAN YOU NAILED TO THE CROSS — BOTH LORD AND CHRIST.” (Acts 2:36, New Century Version, emphasis mine)

Christ’s lordship does not prove that He is God, because if so: (1) God (Jesus) is only made “Lord” by another God for the Bible said, “God has made Jesus – the man you nailed to the cross-both Lord and Christ”; and (2) God (Jesus) is a “man nailed to the cross.”

When the Apostle Peter teaches that Jesus is Lord, he also mentioned that Jesus was made Lord by God and “a man nailed to the cross.”

Jesus as Savior

We should accept Jesus Christ as our Savior:

“The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom you had murdered by hanging Him on a tree. GOD EXALTED THIS MAN TO HIS RIGHT HAND AS RULER AND SAVIOR, to grant repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.” (Acts 5:30-31, Holman Christian Standard Bible, emphasis mine)

Jesus is our Savior, but He became our Savior because “God exalted this man to His right hand as ruler and Savior.” Although, Jesus is our Savior, but the Bible also mentioned that He is a man exalted by God.

Jesus as the Mediator between God and Men

We should accept Jesus Christ as the Mediator between the one true God and men:

“For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” (I Timothy 2:5, NIV, emphasis mine)

Apostle Paul’s statement clearly said that “there is one God.” And we are certain that the “one God” referred to by Apostle Paul is not the Lord Jesus, because he also mentioned that “the man Christ Jesus” is the “one mediator between God and men.”

LET US UPHOLD WHAT THE BIBLE
TEACHES ABOUT JESUS CHRIST

Let us uphold what the Bible teaches about the Lord Jesus Christ – the man Jesus Christ is the one mediator between God and men, for those who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as “coming in the flesh” such person is the deceiver and the antichrist:

“Many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist.” (II John 1:7 NIV)

Those who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as “coming in the flesh” as those “who don’t believe that Jesus Christ came to earth as a human being”:

“Watch out for the false leaders-and there are many of them around-who don't believe that Jesus Christ came to earth as a human being with a body like ours. Such people are against the truth and against Christ.” (II John 1:7 Living Bible)

If Jesus is not the one true God, who is? This is what the apostles teach us:

“Praise be to THE GOD AND FATHER OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.” (Ephesians 1:3 NIV, Emphasis Mine)

What is manifestation???
I have heard people in this forum specially from the Bahai Faith
But never delve an in depth discussion with them.

When you check out the definition - I could not help but ask the question

giphy.gif

It did not help at all, did it?
When you call somebody a Manifestation - what is he or she?
Is he/she a mirage?
A projection or what?

Manifestation is a non straight forward answer to a question.
You don't want to offend anybody, maybe you could get away with it with manifestation.
A more reputable dictionary defines manifestation this way:

manifestation.jpg

It did not help at all, did it?
So I believe the word does not describe the Lord Jesus Christ at all
Describing Jesus Christ a manifestation clouds the clear knowledge about who Jesus is.
And in doing so, people prevent other people from knowing the truth on how to find
Eternal Life, as Jesus Christ preached

John 17:1,3 New King James Version (NKJV)

Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You,

And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

Who are we going to believe???
People who could not save themselves from their lies or the Lord Jesus Christ?

Who is the only true God according to the Lord Jesus Christ?
Is the Lord Jesus Christ sent or the one sending?
Who sent the Lord Jesus Christ?
If people do not believe that the Father is the only true God and the one sent by the only true God is none other than Jesus Christ - would they be saved?

If manifestation doesn't muddle anything
Why did Jesus didn't say he is the manifestation of God?
Jesus is not recorded as a manifestation, apparition or imagination.

Jesus Christ admitted he is a man who heard the truth about God.

John 8:39-40 New King James Version (NKJV)
Jesus said to them, “If you were Abraham’s children, you would do the works of Abraham. But now you seek to kill Me, a Man who has told you the truth which I heard from God. Abraham did not do this.

Jesus Christ admitted he is the Son of God, the Son of Man

Luke 12:8 New International Version (NIV)
“I tell you, whoever publicly acknowledges me before others, the Son of Man will also acknowledge before the angels of God.

Jesus Christ admitted he has flesh and bones

Luke 24:39 New King James Version (NKJV)
Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.”

But Jesus Christ never claimed he is a manifestation whatsoever

And if we can't find that "Jesus is a manifestation" that is an addition which the Bible prohibits

Deuteronomy 4:2 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
You shall not add to the word which I am commanding you, nor take away from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.

And what is the danger of adding to God's words???

Revelation 22:18 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book;

Jesus, the 'man', if a human, isn't a deified man. Why? Because He always separated the 'god aspect', that He represented, and the 'man aspect'. Therefore, He did not expect to become a 'god'.

Jesus said 'I and the father are one', this either means, the 'same spirit', the Lord, inhabiting a human body, or, it means, the 'representative', the word of god.
Neither of these options, mean a 'deified human', because Jesus is already one, with the father, prior to resurrection.

Jesus as a 'man', deified after resurrection, makes two g-ds, not one, therefore that doesn't work, either.

So, what is your answer? How are you not deriving either two g-ds, or, the incarnation of the Lord can work, however that makes it two beings, again.

Discuss and debate

Jesus defined himself as the "son of man."

First of all, it would be correct to say that Jesus is deity incarnated in a human body. He is not "man" in the complete species sense of the intended meaning of that scripture. His father was God, not a man.

Fast forward to the Book of Daniel, which was written at a time when the “son of man” phrase had a specific and known meaning. In the context of Daniel 7:13, where one "like a son of man" comes to the Ancient of Days (Almighty God) and is given dominion and sovereign power and universal worship of the sort that God alone possesses, the significance of Jesus' "son of man" usage cannot be overstated. It is functionally equivalent to saying that the one like a son of man is rightful heir and successor to the divine throne. "Son of man" is essentially the same as "Son of God" in this context. And if the person in Daniel 7:13-14 is only someone “like” a son of man, then it certainly implies there must be some differences. Otherwise it would say something like, “A son of man” came before the Ancient of Days.”

First - INCARNATION IS NOT MENTIONED IN THE BIBLE

And if it is not mentioned, it is not written and must be something else
Most likely the word incarnation was borrowed from another religion

Incarnation literally means embodied in flesh or taking on flesh. It refers to the conception and birth of a sentient being who is the material manifestation of an entity, god or force whose original nature is immaterial. In its religious context the word is used to mean the descent from Heaven of a god, deity, or divine being in human/animal form on Earth.

In Hinduism, incarnation refers to its rebirth doctrine, and in its theistic traditions to avatar. Avatar literally means "descent, alight, to make one's appearance", and refers to the embodiment of the essence of a superhuman being or a deity in another form.

Lastly - Let us find out from JESUS CHRIST himself if you are correct in saying He is not a man in the complete sense.

John 8:39-40 Expanded Bible (EXB)
They answered, “Our father is Abraham.”

Jesus said to them, “If you were really Abraham’s children, you would do the things Abraham did. I am a man who has told you the truth which I heard from God, but you are trying to kill me. Abraham did nothing like that.

Now if Jesus Christ joined our conversations. He would ask you a very strong question:

Jesus didn't just become God in the New Testament. He has always been God (John 8:58, Philippians 2:5-7, etc.). So yeah, he incarnated. And don't fret over the word incarnation. A word or event by any other meaning or description is still an incarnation.

13. He is omnipotent over demons. (Matthew 8:16-17; Luke 4:35)
14. He is omnipotent over nature. ((Matthew 8:26)

21. He forgives sins. (Mark 2:5)
22. He saves (only God saves). Matthew 18:11; John 10:28).

10. He existed in the form of God before His incarnation and was equal with God the Father (Philippians 2:5-7)

giphy.gif

Philippians 2:5-9 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV)

In your life together, think the way Christ Jesus thought.

He was like God in every way,
but he did not think that his being equal with God was something to use for his own benefit.
Instead, he gave up everything, even his place with God.
He accepted the role of a servant, appearing in human form.
During his life as a man,
he humbled himself by being fully obedient to God,
even when that caused his death—death on a cross.
So God raised him up to the most important place
and gave him the name that is greater than any other name.

What could be read:

1. Jesus was like God
2. Jesus is not equal with God
3. Jesus was obedient to God
4. God raised him up
5. God gave him the name that is greater that any other name

What we could conclude:

Jesus is not the same as God
God raised Jesus and God gave Jesus a name that is greater than any other name
Jesus therefore is not God

FLUSH. You blew it again!

JESUS MUST BE JEHOVAH!!

John 1:23 quotes Isaiah 40:3 as saying John the Baptist was to prepare the way for the LORD (Jehovah). John prepared the way before Jesus so Jesus must be LORD (Jehovah).

In Isaiah 44:8 God is the only Rock. Psalm 18:31 says, “Who is the Rock except our God”? I Corinthians 10:4, identifies Jesus as the Rock. Jesus must also then be God the Rock.

Isaiah 44:24 says that God (Jehovah) is the one who has made all things. Colossians 1:16, speaking of Christ, says that “all things were created by Him and for him”. Jesus must therefore be Jehovah God.

In Jeremiah 10:10 it says “the LORD (Jehovah) is the true God”. I John 5:20 states that Jesus is the “true God”. Jesus must be the true God.

Isaiah 43:10,11 says that “I, even I, am the LORD; and there is no savior besides Me. Jesus is the Savior (Matthew 1:21, Titus 2:13; 2 Peter 1:1, etc., etc.). Jesus must be God the Savior.

Jehovah knows all things (Psalm 147:5). Jesus knows “all things.” (John 16:30). Jesus must be Jehovah.

Jehovah alone is the only one who knows the hearts of all men. (1 Kings 8:39; Jeremiah 17:9-10). Jesus knows the hearts of all men. (John 2:24-25; Rev. 2:18, 23). Jesus must be God.

Jehovah is our sanctifier. (Exodus 31:13). Jesus sanctifies us (Hebrews 10:10). Only God is the sanctifier of men. Jesus must be God.

JESUS MUST BE JEHOVAH!!

Jehovah (/dʒɪˈhoʊvə/) is a Latinization of the Hebrew יְהֹוָה, one vocalization of the Tetragrammaton יהוה (YHWH), the proper name of the God of Israel in the Hebrew Bible[1] and one of the seven names of God in Judaism.

  1. It was a Latinization
  2. of the Hebrew
  3. a vocalization
  4. of the tetragrammaton

So many complicated and unrelated mix
A dead language which is Latin
A language used by the Israelites
You vocalize it and separate into 4 letters [Tetragram]
To produce Jehovah

Why can't I use Father, instead?

John 1:23 quotes Isaiah 40:3 as saying John the Baptist was to prepare the way for the LORD (Jehovah). John prepared the way before Jesus so Jesus must be LORD (Jehovah).

In Jeremiah 10:10 it says “the LORD (Jehovah) is the true God”. I John 5:20 states that Jesus is the “true God”. Jesus must be the true God.

Jesus is Lord
God is Lord
Therefore Jesus is God?

That is a wrong assumption leading to a wrong conclusion.

What does it mean to say someone is Lord?
noun. a person who has authority, control, or power over others; a master, chief, or ruler. ... a titled nobleman or peer; a person whose ordinary appellation contains by courtesy the title Lord or some higher title.
Lord | Definition of Lord at Dictionary.com

The Lordship of the Almighty God is natural in Him
Nobody gave the Lord God His lordship
Having wrote that is the lordship of the Lord Jesus Christ
inherent in him or was it given?

Acts 2:36 New International Version (NIV)
“Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.”

What did the Bible say?
God made this Jesus, Lord

Right conclusion: God gave the title Lord to Jesus
God is the giver and the Lord Jesus Christ is the receiver of the title.

Isaiah 44:24 says that God (Jehovah) is the one who has made all things. Colossians 1:16, speaking of Christ, says that “all things were created by Him and for him”. Jesus must therefore be Jehovah God.

Colossians 1:15-16 New International Version (NIV)
The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.

The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.

That's the Lord Jesus Christ, isn't it?
He is the Son of the invisible God
He is the firstborn over all what is created.
Therefore Jesus is different from God.

For in him all things were created: all things have been created through him and for him.

Everything was created through him
Everything was created for him

So who did the creation?
The Lord Almighty God, Jesus was in God's mind when God created
Hence the Lord God created everything through the name of Jesus
The Lord Almighty God created everything for Jesus.
