I don't support banning pornography.
I'm happy to hear it. But the far right of the Republican party most certainly does, and it's right there in their 900+ page platform.

They support many other means of taking away people's freedoms to pursue happiness in their own way. They seem woefully unaware that not everybody's life partner lives as long as they do, or will stick around forever. They aren't interested in the difficulties faced by people who weren't lucky enough to be born white, Christian, male (above and below) straight and wihtout bodily defect, and have plans to make life more difficult for every human that falls outside of that description of the perfect human.

So what, there are terrorist supporters, communists and anarchists in the dem party. These people are not running for president.

This has nothing to do with Trump's platform.

And there's a felon in the Republican party running for President. Oh, and a rapist, liar and racist into the bargain.
This has nothing to do with Trump's platform.
You may (and will) believe as you wish -- but that platform is written by dozens and dozens of people closely connected to Trump. In practice, many of Trump's closest policy advisers and those likely to take high-ranking positions in his administration are heavily involved in the project. For instance, former Trump administration official Russ Vought has played a major role in Project 2025. He also serves as the policy director of the Republican National Convention's platform committee, an appointment the campaign signed off on.

So I put it to you: if a major contributor to Project 2025 is approved by the Republican Nation Convention as policy director for their platform -- do you still say "this has nothing to do with Trump's platform?"

Ok great, Trump does not endorse it. got it, thanks.

Goodness, are you saying that whole jury thing was made up, that they never came back with verdicts of "guilty" on felony charges?

I get it. Only Trump never lies -- judges, juries, grand juries everybody and his dog lies, but Trump has never uttered anything but pristine truth. Got it, thanks. I'll have to keep an eye out for Haitian pet eaters.

From taking a quick glance at this, I'd say I support most of the practical, constitutional positions. I don't agree with anything that goes against the US Constitution, especially anything that infringes on the 1st clause of the 1st Amendment.

Regarding this notion about "pornography" having no claim to 1st Amendment protection - yeah, actually it does in fact have such a claim & saying that it does not have a claim is itself a claim, and a false one. You can call "pornography" disgusting, offensive, and reprehensible if you wish, just like you can call hate speech disgusting, offensive, and reprehensible, but "pornography" is just as protected by the 1st Amendment (freedom of the press) as hate speech (freedom of speech) is, or practicing devil worship is (freedom of religion), or getting together with friends or coworkers at a bar (right to peaceably assemble).

These types of "conservatives" still want to impose socialism on society, except it's by controlling religious behavior rather than economic behavior by "liberals". It's true, socialism on the Left & socialism on the Right, and one example I can think of that spans across both wings of the hideous beast is the gun grabbing stuff.

Again, I don't defend all of it. It does not propose a christian theocracy. Where does it do that?
Excerpted...
Abortion: Project 2025 describes the Dobbs decision, which overturned Roe v. Wade, as “just the beginning.”

“Conservatives in the states and in Washington, including in the next conservative Administration, should push as hard as possible to protect the unborn in every jurisdiction in America,” the book states. “In particular, the next conservative President should work with Congress to enact the most robust protections for the unborn that Congress will support while deploying existing federal powers to protect innocent life and vigorously complying with statutory bans on the federal funding of abortion.”

The book calls on the Department of Health and Human Services to protect “the health and well-being of all Americans,” beginning at conception, and to end mandatory health insurance coverage of Ella, an emergency contraceptive that Project 2025 describes as a “potential abortifacient.” It also advocates using an 1873 anti-vice law to block abortion pills from being sent via the mail. (More about that later.)

=========================================================

As we see above, Trump lies when he says that he'd leave
abortion up to the states. Not only does Project 2025 want
it illegal in every state, Vance has also said that women
should be surveiled when crossing state lines (in case they
seek an abortion). This is Christian theocracy trying to
sneak in under the guise of states' rights.

Yeah but it is not like Trump is easily convinced by people around him saying nice things about him, oh wait.

So what, there are terrorist supporters, communists and anarchists in the dem party. These people are not running for president.
This illustrates how desperate you are. Your list, even if true, is so irrelevant that it's not an issue or threat to America. How many are you referring to here, a couple of dozen out of 170 million voters? Wow, talk about irrelevant and an attempt to slur democrats. If your list was true and there were millions of these folks, and you think this sines a bad light light on democrats, how does it look on your conservatives supporting a criminal? It's vastly worse. So you ought to be careful who you are criticizing where it comes to character. You've sold yours out by 1. supporting Trump, and 2. admitting it openly when you know how bad a person he is. There's no shame in keeping your dark secrets private.
This has nothing to do with Trump's platform.
Hos platform as a wole is a threat to America's stability and ability to function, let alone the culture war items that you conservatives want to see implemented against citizens whose liberties are being taken away more and more. Conservtives have been duped to support a criminal candidate because they have two agendas that offer wins in the culture war that the right has been losing for decades, and all the while smuggling in the dismantling of government so the right wing extremists can hold power indefinately. You guys are so blinded by your culture war victory that you will sell out the constitution and law. Talk about gullible.

Trump denies knowing anything about project 2025 (why is he so clueless?). And defenders say Trump isn't going to implement the 900 page plan. But Trump is named 312 times in project 2025. 312 times!! That is once in every three pages, yet Trump has no clue about all this? He says he won't implement what it says?

No theocracy even mentioned here. Trump's stance on abortion is clear, states issue and he will not sign a national abortion ban.

You have sold out yuor by continued lies about Trump. And you are clueless about how many people support Hamas. 22 democrats refused to condemn Hamas in a resolution. There are massive pro Hamas demonstrations in Michigan and on college campuses. Not just pro palestine but have pro Hamas flags and gear.

So what. He is named in a document. I bet his name is all over the place where he has no clue about it. You have flawed logic you think that because his name is in a document he supports it. You continue to lie about this and it reflects on your character.

In a post like that, it's unwise
to call someone else a liar.
You know nothing about
demonstrations in my state.
