Proof That the Bible is the Word of God and True

This statement was made between 745-680 BC. Isaiah is saying that the Earth is round, At the time people believed that the Earth was flat, But not Isaiah, Why??? because God reviled the truth to him. The Bible is truth.
Actually, many cultures knew the planet to be round. The Greeks even came rather close to estimating the size of the planet. And without modern day tools to measure something as large as a planet, that must mean the Gods of Olympus gave them the knowledge.
Consider also this poetic description of the earth’s water cycle, recorded some 3,000 years ago: "All streams flow into the sea, yet the sea is never full. To the place the streams come from, there they return again." (Ecclesiastes 1:7, New International Version) Yes, the Creator of the universe is also the Author of the Bible.
Several cultures also knew that to be fact as well.

All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, 2 TIMOTHY 3;16

Indeed. Some of my favorites are Nietzsche's Twilight of the Idols and Will To Power, Nicholas of Cusa's De Docta Ignorantia, Dostoevsky's The Brothers Karamazov and the The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein.

Well... that settles it. The Bible says the Bible is true*, therefore the Bible is true. Who can argue with that logic?

*or rather, the Epistles of Paul say that Jewish scripture is true and sufficient, and in spite of this, Christians have dropped items that Paul would have called "scripture" and adopted their own new scripture (e.g. the Gospels) since the verse in question was first uttered, but that's a whole other thing.

If we can conclude from your passage that God wrote the Bible, what can we conclude from 1 Kings? That God is bad at math? That God didn't write the Bible?
Circumference. The circumference of 30 cubits is evidently a round figure, for more precisely it would be 31.4 cubits
(Notes on the King James Version, London, 1887)

How does that answer the challenge of your assertion that "Creator God wrote the Bible?"

Round and wrong. Perhaps the words "more or less" (or their Hebrew equivalent) were in the original text and were omitted from the version I quoted?

How does a round figure "set things straight?"

"Where were you on the date in question?"
"I was around."
"Could you be more specific?"
"Maybe."

Please elucidate on the ways in which ambiguity sheds any kind of real light.

If you say so.
Scientist have found a mysterious hole, and sounds comming from an unknown source, both in the Pacific Ocean. That must mean dead Cthulhu does indeed lie there, and the words penned by the Mad Arab in the Necronomicon are true.

Sorry, 4got to say what my post was about - don't these quotes below show that the people writing the bible believed the world to be flat? Also, if the bible says the world is round, why didn't people a thousand years ago believe it? They followed the bible pretty much to the very word, so why therefore did they persecute anyone who said the earth was round and not flat?
Christians a thousand years ago believed the earth was flat, even though they lived their life by the bible. Doesn't this show that the Bible doesn't tell us that the earth is round, but indeed flat if anything?

More science from the Bible:
And he said, "With what can we compare the kingdom of God, or what parable shall we use for it? It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when sown on the ground, is the smallest of all the seeds on earth, yet when it is sown it grows up and becomes larger than all the garden plants and puts out large branches, so that the birds of the air can make nests in its shade."
This passage was so embarrassing to the inerrantists who produced the New International Version that they found it necessary to change it so that "God" wouldn't be caught saying something plainly false:
Again he said, "What shall we say the kingdom of God is like, or what parable shall we use to describe it? It is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest seed you plant in the ground. Yet when planted, it grows and becomes the largest of all garden plants, with such big branches that the birds of the air can perch in its shade."
And biblical proof that the world is flat:
Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.
If the earth were a sphere, it would be impossible to see all the kingdoms of the earth from any mountain, however high. The world must be flat. This fits perfectly with Isaiah's belief that the world was round (like a plate, not like a ball). How it is that the world is round and yet has four corners is hard to understand, but the biblical literalist must have faith in the four-cornered circle whether he understands it or not.

When we're done learning science and geometry from the Bible, shall we move on to ethics?
