Do you know what a John is?I'd rather have neither arrested.
"John" is a male first name.Do you know what a John is?
It can also be a pimp. A person who causes the suffering of others sometimes by his own hand.A "john" is either a toilet or a prostitute's male customer.
I'd never heard "john" being used to describe a pimp before. It can also be a pimp. A person who causes the suffering of others sometimes by his own hand.
I'm pretty sure it's a synonym.I'd never heard "john" being used to describe a pimp before.
I checked a couple dictionaries, & found no such usage either.

Prostitution is wrongfully banned in most countries in the world. Prostitution would not only provide extra business in these countries, but also extra jobs. If prostitution were legalized, there needs to be some serious rules laid down. Prostitution should only be conducted in brothels, and prostitutes should be encouraged to use protection and should obtain a permit.
The only reason why prostitution is not legal in most countries is because the rulers of said countries want to control our every move, including our sexuality. They do not want us to think for ourselves and be total zombies, bowing down to them and doing their every wish. There is nothing wrong with prostitution, and if it were legalized it would benefit society and allow people to make their own decisions.
They tried to make the hetero porn industry in California use condoms and there was a big fight over that. They still don't commonly use condoms in hetero porn scenes and they have STD outbreaks among performers on a relatively common basis. The gay porn industry tends to be more strident about condom usage and "barebacking" (condomless sex) is considered a niche or fetish in gay pornography (basically the performers know what they're getting into and the HIV+ status of gay performers in barebacking porn tends to be known). Porn with transsexual men and women also usually features condom usage.Because some men will pay more for the 'privilege' of not wearing one. It's not like the state is going to monitor usage.
It happens either way, why not make it legal and provide protection, healthcare and social security to the sex-worker? Thinking about it strictly in terms of a service provided in exchange for compensation, there is no rational reason not to legalize and tax it, except feeling "icky". Sadly, many laws are governed by "ickiness" rather than rationality. My spiritual side says it shouldn't be legalized, my secular side says it would make sense from a safety standpoint, if it were sanctioned and governed with legal rules and such. Decisions.
