I hope he keeps doing actions like this...especially on animal rights. I've been in a slaughterhouse once and I really hope one day they will be banned at least in India. Hopefully Modi Government will make these places for all animals.
Regards
Lol what? You do realize India is not a country of just Vegetarian Hindus? There are Christians, Muslims, and even millions of Hindu's including myself who eat meat daily. Banning slaughterhouses would never happen.

You see, Axylyz, the previous government had a stake in religion and castes. They acted like vote banks for them. Castes and religion was imposed on people. When the Supreme Court asked the government if 'affirmative action' could be based on economic criteria, they said no, it must be based on castes. A victory for this government is a defeat of religious and caste equations to some extent.Okay, fine. But I do hope that the government tries to teach people more on issues like caste system, discrimination, animal rights, etc to the public.
Modi government has kept aside 500 crore rupees for 'Gau shalas' all over the country. 40% of the cows in these 'Gau shalas' will be those beyond the milking years. Not a big amount but I think a good beginning. I approve of the action.

It is a sad day when poeple dare to laugh at this topic,
Be carefull or you will come back as a cow in your next Life, then you will be praying forthe banning of slaughter houses.
It's only around 150 million Muslims, and personally I'd have no problem with limiting or outright banning of slaughterhouses. Hindus have been trod on by the secularists too long. Let the Muslims import their meat from neighbouring countries.
What about the Hindus as well? Wouldn't imported meat cost a lot more than usual?
I'm orthodox. Hindus who can't recognise ahimsa for what it is deserve to pay more.
A vegetarian diet is a lot cheaper, better for the environment, and in accordance with ahimsa. It's too each his own though.
Remember, we can still eat dairy, and if the cows get better treatment the dairy industry will boom.
Yes, vegetarian diet is the diet of the Vedas. However, I'm a Vegan atm solely because of the brutality of the dairy industry in the USA. Is there a really bad dairy industry in Canada? What about India? I always thought that in India milk was taken by hand right?
Regards
@Asha, What's there to be careful about? You do know that meat comes in variety, not just cow. I eat chicken, turkey, ham, eggs..There are 300+ million Muslims in India, they can eat beef if they want it's their choice.
Just wondering why do some people do Cow-pray. A cow who cannot save herself, how will she save others ?Be carefull or you will come back as a cow in your next Life, then you will be praying forthe banning of slaughter houses.
