I wore a Purity ring every day of my senior year in college, that's just how I wanted to identify. What do you guys think about Purity Rings?
I just got a couple nonchalante encounters or comments, the whole time I did, though. Problem is, it wasn't a real mainstream clear one, I seem to identify the practice is the ring left finger like marriage, which I did, and it had a curved cross like teutonics, white on black like hospitallers.
I got one social worker that sort of checked on me, I mean I was just jogging at the college exercise track. You guys think that looks like Nazis? He was black. I had a classmate I shook his hand in marketing and he remarked from the ring, not showing any real recognition.
I've been studying Laicite, which could be a real problem people are dealing with, in France, the social public sphere is governed by "Laicite", which has been a problem removing all public displays of religion, since it bans crosses and Muslim headscarves, which we find rather normal.
I don't know if I'd have seen Chastity as equal to Celibacy, I used to like all the Monastics, and the actual cloisters, traditions, or the look of it, now popular media insults it all over the place. I'm sure its equal with the seven virtues related Chastity, being married as a calling.
So what do you guys think about Purity RIngs, Wedding Rings, free speech, religious callings? Your thoughts? Most people are going to have wedding rings to celebrate publicly the marriages , so my topic might be a little bit off to the side then.
