I think multiverse travel views seems to align to what I have learned about nude beaches from reading on line (again, I have not been to one). From what I can tell, there seems to be three types of nude beaches: (1) those which do not tolerate erections in any way, (2) those that allow them, but ask men to be discrete, and (3) those that are completely free toward erections, as long as there are no sexual activities.
For those people like Kilgore Trout, who claim that erections should not have any place on nude beaches, how do you explain comments where there are clearly women who do not mind seeing them? If needed, I can send a link to such websites. But there seems to be nude beach websites where participants seem to enjoy seeing erections (e.g., one woman commented on a website she likes to see the bouncing banana just like Songbird visual, I guess) but there still is a line between it and sexual activities.
Perhaps my question has been answered that started this thread. I still see it as a double standard to accept nudity and not erections on a nude beach. And although I think men have a mild amount of control in preventing erections and letting them go, I think most men can control sexual behaviors once they have an erection.
Is it fair to say, then, that nude beaches have different cultures/rules and first time nudists should investigate and pick the one that best fits the type of experience he/she hopes for?

A naked woman on the beach is just a naked woman on the beach. You know what naked people look like. What's so remarkable about a woman lying on the beach, clothed or not?
Erections are for sexual situations. Sunbathing is not a sexual situation. Being unclothed does not equate to being sexual. Most people, I should hope, can distinguish the two.
