I am with Radar on this one. Humor us with prophesies that have come true.

There are now two of "us" so he was correct in his tense.

No, the torah is not..
Ther aren't any books that contain any words of any god..... If they are please provide proof, besides that one of these books says so....
Can you start? You prove that God did not inspire these books. Then we can discuss your proof.

Can you prove they were? I am agnostic so I have nothing to prove. The burden of proof lies with everyone else. As an agnostic I believe that it unknowable and that there is no evidence to support that there is a god. I also believe in the possibility of a god but most of the evidence lean toward there not being one. So I am comfortable saying I don't know because it is unkowable. I personally find to many faults with any sort of organized religion. I can also say I don't care if there is a god because he/she/it seems to be apathetic with the world in general.

The Bible does not contradict itself. How can that be possible if it is the idea of man.
Was there not a discrepancy between when the Gospel of John and the Gospel of Mark had the day of the crucifixion. Did not one have it on the day before Passover on the other on the day after.

I think they all argued about what was said by Jesus on the cross.

but you don't need me to tell you that there have been lots of learned scholars who have picked every contradiction between the Gospels. There are quite a few, but (in my opinion) none of them matter. What matters is the message. I just think it is not good to keep saying these contradictions do not occur.

Actually it doesn't.

It does not benefit me if I could somehow convert you to believe in God. The only person who would benefit, would be you. So the burden of finding the proof is entirely yours, because religion and salvation is very personal.

I actually believe that the world is unfolding as it should.

I assume you think God should be concerned about the things with which you are concerned. Because these are tasks He leaves to us, you think He is apathetic. Maybe it's just part of life's rich plan.

Why don't we start with this 'evidence'. Would you like to show us a little of it.
The burden of proof is with everyone else, not with me. I am comfortable with not knowing. Please someone convince me that there is a god, any god. Prove it to me. You that seek followers of your faith please save my life because I am comfortable not knowing and not caring. I comfortable with you saying that I am going to hell or my life just ending when ever I die. I don't look for an after life or another life I am comfortable with this one. I have love, I give love. I am comfortable with no god in my life. So if you feel the need to try to save me then try and prove to me the one true way. I seek not the fortunes of another life, just to live this one the best I can and to love and be loved by my family. I have nothing to prove to anyone or any god.

... and yet continue to post and post and post..... I am happy you are so "comfortable".

or....
I am comfortable with no god in my life.
Which is it.... do you want to be "convinced" or are you comfortable?

The bible is made up of more then one book...

Which books are you curious about?

Well messages is not what we are talking about. We were talking about contradictions. The message is subjectional too. What you wrote maybe what you got from it. I could say that OT do things god's way or die, NT I could say do things how Jesus says and believe in him or go to hell for eternal damnation. Yes these are broad generalization but that could be what someone would take from it. So the message is subjection. If the book was perfect and true then the message should be the same for whoever was to pick it up to read. This perfect and true book should not have to interpreted by someone (priest, pastor) for you to get the correct meaning. Even then that is subjection depending on which priest or pastor is doing the iterpretation. It should also be strait forward without any hinden meanings. This would tend to turn would be followers away.
In your comparison between the OT and NT you said the same thing. Jesus is God and eternal damnation is death. And you don't need a priest or whomever to interpret the Bible, the Bible itself says to work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Jesus is the only mediator between God and man, not another man. And the Bible seems to be pretty straight forward to me; "the wages of sin is death", "all have sinned", "if you say you love God and hate your brother your a liar and the truth is not in you", "for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him will not perish but have eternal life". If you have ears to hear, then hear. You will either bow before Jesus as Lord or as judge.

Oh, so you mean that you are comfortable to sit lounging, whilst everyone else does your legwork.........You remind me of the recluse who complains that he has no friends. If you want God, go and look for him. If you aren't interested, don't bother.

The bible is a divinely inspired book. The word of God is eternal, so the message it gives is the will of god for that time period. If there are any doubts of the divinity of the Bible, just read the sermon on the mount, and feel the divine authority from which jesus speaks
