Do you believe you can be haunted by a demon?

No. I do believe there are spirits and entities with less than honorable intentions, but I have faith in my gods to kick them into the next universe.

You are obviously unaware of the concepts behind debate. The word 'negative' is used in trying to prove 'something' which cannot be found . . . like God. If I were to hide a yellow brick inside a room and ask several people to find it, and they connot, does that establish there is no such thing as a yellow brick? No, it doesn't.

Well, let's see all these 'MILLIONS' of evidences? LMFAO!
Oh my. What?
What did you do with the brick? Houdini it out of existence... so that it can't be found?

"Something which can't" - operative word - can't...be found.
Are aliens from outer space real?
Persons say yes. Persons say no. Persons say we don't know.
Is this one of those cases where "we can't prove a negative"?

Might the interaction between outer space beings and humans, seen in sci-fi, be a way of man saying, 'Perhaps our instruments will one day detect extraterrestrial beings. Perhaps our knowledge may become more clear, about things beyond our current understanding'.
Please, I suggest you watch...

I loved this one...
For me, the reasonable arguments started at 24:00. Others will disagree with me, but we all have our opinions. :)

You are clearly confused about all of this and especially about what I posted.

What you think I am confused about.
You are confused about the objective existence of demons and proving a negative.
Ocaam's Razor in this case states that is more than likely that there are no objective demons, no one has found one throughout the history of mankind, both psychology and neuroscience explain the way in which we percieve entities of which we label as demons, gods, devils and angels. These are all subjective structures within our uncioncious minds.

You are only repeating a claim that is not true. That is not showing anything.
No one has seen ETs, ever. Why are the scientists spending time and money searching for what exists only in one's imagination?

I suppose we live in a world where most people lie, so it is best not to believe anything anyone says that is dismissed by the experts in this world, and we should also accept that when we see something happen, it really didn't, it was only seen by others, because our what exists at the same time, in our mind, can exist in the minds of others.

How a scientist believes in demons
As a psychiatrist, I diagnose mental illness. Also, I help spot demonic possession.
How a scientist learned to work with exorcists.

This is where you get confused about proving a negative. It's impossible to prove something doesn't exist, one can only prove something exists. However, as I mentioned Occam's Razor, the probability at this point in time that demons exist objectively is extremely low. Common sensibilities would dictate that we are never going to discover a demon anywhere.

As for the time and money spent looking for ET's . . . I often wonder myself why? However, you are also confusing searching for archetypal structures (e.g. demon) with searching for intelligent life in the objective universe.
