As an American atheist, Christianity is the bigger threat to me, my values, and my way of life.I've often wondered, as an Atheist, do you have an equal repugnance for all monotheistic Religions or is there one branch that you believe harms the world worse?
Please don't fill in the poll unless you are atheist/agnostic...thanks!

What do you mean by subtle way ? Kinda geopolitical stuff I was hinting at?I do have an equal distaste for these religions, but I also think there is one that is currently the most harmful.
Judaism is pretty chill, from what I've seen.
Christianity needs some more work, but it's becoming more tame by the year.
Islam is the one that has yet to reform properly in many, if not most ways.
That's just a basic overlook.
I actually think Christianity is the most harmful, but it's a lot more subtle.
Islam is outright harmful, so that's my vote.
Edit: I am certainly open to debate on this, as there is a lot of information on this subject that I lack.
This is just my general opinion.
If I lived in an Islamic country I think it's like I would pick Islam. It's relative.Thank you for your answers so far
@bobhikes
thank you! You are right. Humans are to blame. For my own troubles I have no one to blame but myself.
I just wondered if Atheists or agnostics had the same level of repugnance for each Religion. It isn't to blame anyone, just to better understand where Atheists/agnostics are coming from.

We need only look at the Aztecs or Imperialist Japan to realize the issue isn't monotheism, it's this idea of an "unquestionable" position of divinity and divine authority. States and Kingdoms have done this themselves, but historically religion has been the most volatile way of manipulating the masses into "unquestionable" obedience when it's not some man telling you what to do but god himself commanding it.I've often wondered, as an Atheist, do you have an equal repugnance for all monotheistic Religions or is there one branch that you believe harms the world worse?
While today the West is burdened with dogmatic oppression stemming from a Christian history, Muslim countries are lagging by centuries now in areas of civil liberties and equalities due to this resurgence in such deeply conservative and fundamental approaches towards Islam.

Actually, no dogwhistle. I genuinely was wondering what the opinion is among Atheists and agnostics. I had a suspicion that there wasn't one Religion that created more of a feeling of repugnance than the other. I was largely correct.I think the question is a dogwhistle.
I think people are the problem, not the faiths nor the concept of faith.
I don't see how anyone can argue against that statementIslam and Christianity cause more harm than other religions.
Very good point with Imperialist Japan! I overlooked that. While today the West is burdened with dogmatic oppression stemming from a Christian history, Muslim countries are lagging by centuries now in areas of civil liberties and equalities due to this resurgence in such deeply conservative and fundamental approaches towards Islam.

I am an atheist. I view them all as having contributed and detracted from civilization. That said I don't find any "repugnant." So, does that mean they are equally repugnant in that they are all not repugnant?I've often wondered, as an Atheist, do you have an equal repugnance for all monotheistic Religions or is there one branch that you believe harms the world worse?
