What on earth is a four square church?
I have heard the term only once before and never got an answer. Maybe someone here can provide me with one?

Now, now, main stream Pentecostals are no longer Holy Rollers. Speaking in tongues has kind of fallen out of fashion.

I don't know about that. As some of you know, I am looking for a Church home. Some friends took me to a pentecostal Church a couple of weeks ago, and the people there were praying in tongues, among other things. It just wasn't my cup of tea, though.

Hi Christine! :)

Since you say you're seeking, I do hope you'll investigate ALL the major religions and then come to an informed conclusion about what path to follow!

Please don't limit your choices prematurely.

Best regards, and good hunting! :)

Yeah, it still happens but the Pentecostal leadership is trying to keep it low key so they don't scare noobs off. There is a huge difference in the Pentecostal Church of today and that of 50 years ago. My grandfather told tales of them coming to town and setting up tents. They would lay down hay so that when people fell to the ground and began speaking in tongues they wouldn't hurt themselves. He said one year he and some friends collected a bunch of yellow jackets and turned them loose in the hay. They waited and sometime during all the thrashing and wailing a change seemed to come of the tone of the wails. Suddenly all kinds of people came running out of the tent stripping off their clothes. He thought it was pretty funny, even 60 years later. :D
