“Relaxation and Recreation The most relaxing recreating forces are a healthy religion, sleep, music, and laughter. Have faith in God—learn to sleep well— Love good music—see the funny side of life— And health and happiness will be yours.”

~ Dale Carnegie, "How to Stop Worrying and Start Living”

Love quotes from literature - also the suggested!

“Love is the only way to grasp another human being in the innermost core of his personality. No one can become fully aware of the very essence of another human being unless he loves him. By his love he is enabled to see the essential traits and features in the beloved person; and even more, he sees that which is potential in him, which is not yet actualized but yet ought to be actualized. Furthermore, by his love, the loving person enables the beloved person to actualize these potentialities. By making him aware of what he can be and of what he should become, he makes these potentialities come true.”

"Whereas, setting the intent to be only loving, and then putting that intent into practice is extremely powerful – for you are all extremely powerful divine beings having a temporary physical experience – so do not allow your doubts to persuade you that doing only this is ineffective, it is not! You chose to incarnate at this point in humanity’s spiritual evolution and consequent awakening process precisely to be here NOW, assisting the collective in awakening, by channeling Love to all who choose to open their hearts to receive It. There is only LOVE – you know that – It is Reality!"

Toska - noun /ˈtō-skə/ - Russian word roughly translated as sadness, melancholia, lugubriousness. "No single word in English renders all the shades of toska. At its deepest and most painful, it is a sensation of great spiritual anguish, often without any specific cause. At less morbid levels it is a dull ache of the soul, a longing with nothing to long for, a sick pining, a vague restlessness, mental throes, yearning. In particular cases it may be the desire for somebody of something specific, nostalgia, love-sickness. At the lowest level it grades into ennui, boredom.

But we are living in a sceptical and, if I may use the phrase, a thought-tormented age: and sometimes I fear that this new generation, educated or hyper-educated as it is, will lack those qualities of humanity, of hospitality, of kindly humour which belonged to an older day.

James Joyce
